When i started using this soap my skin really started doing better. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean. I usually follow it up with some Aveeno moisturiser, but otherwise I cant say it has ever left me feeling dry or irritated. The soap is slightly stinky, and i can sometimes smell it on my face for a couple of hours after using, but that comes with the territory and I would prefer it smells than for it to not contain any of the active ingredient you are looking for.
