The cross section of the rings is round, which is one of the reasons I bought this watch band; I didn't want rings with a rectangular cross section, i.e., a flat-bar cross section. I have used this band almost three months and the paint has rubbed off the two rings on the bottom side of the band. Although the black rings look good it may be better if the manufacturer left them their natural silver color. Besides that, it is a perfect band for heavy active use. Standard weekender takes a 20mm width. **Q: Will this fit a seiko men's snk803?** A: It sure will, Brian :-)! The Seiko snk803 is 18mm measuring from inside of the lugs. The black band would make the beige dial really "pop". BTW ... that's a pretty cool looking Seiko :-) Hope that helps. It seems there are a few expedition models -- so you should either measure the lug width (thats the distance between the two bits of watch case that that stick out and attach the strap, or measure the width of the existing strap in mm). **Q: One pin came in broken. Would it be possible to just get the replacement pin?** A: I would go to a watch repair shop. The pins come in different sizes and thicknesses. Seems very well built and is stitched as well as glued. The rings are big and beefy and the buckle is sturdy. I am using it on my deployment watch and will see how it holds up. The only thing I would like better is if the rings weren't so wide. Not their thickness, but the wideness of the opening. You could pass the strap through them four times over easily.
