The coat came packed tightly in a bag, so I threw it into a dryer on cool for 10 minutes and it fluffed right up nicely. I got the color black, and it is a nice deep black. The faux fur around the hood is super soft and is detachable which is a great plus for the hood. That option gives you two ways to wear it, with or without the fur and the hood itself is detachable. The two-way zipper is amazing and sturdy. I usually am a medium but I got a large so I could wear a sweater under the coat, and I am glad I did. Definitely size up it does run small. It comes mid-thigh on me and I love that. The shape is nice, but I do wish there was a way to tighten the waist to give it more shape. It is not down but filled with polyester fiber which I like better because down tends to bunch up once it's been washed and loses its shape. I really like this coat.
