Love this Dutch oven. I bought the 5 litre one in red. I have made bread in it several times as well as roasting whole large chickens in it with veg & potatoes on several occasions. I’ve not had a problem with sticking/burning but I’ve only used it for oven use. I highly recommend it if you like making easy bread at home- I am a novice and this Dutch oven has made it excellent. It’s also great for roasting fall off the bone chicken with all the veg for 2 hours - just leave it to cook in the oven and not having to tend to it. It is quite heavy but I think you need to expect that. Overall I love it so far.

Amazing pot. While its not the expensive stuff rhis does the job. Sausage and bacon casserole easily done in this pots and no worring about the lid disapearing. Yes its heavy yes its easy to clean and it fitas well in the oven and on my unit.

This is just what I wanted. It’s exactly the right size, not to heavy to lift and it’s Ieasy to clean.

Love it. I have been using it for the past 2 months now, it is great. I ordered this as we needed a casserole to cook for 15 guests. Apparently, it takes a little bit longer than the common non-stick ones to heat up, but cooks faster than others. Cooks perfectly and extremely easy to clean. As it’s cast iron, it expected to be heavy, so be cautious that if it ever slips from your hand, your foot is not under where it’s falling 🙂

Received this beautiful duch oven just before Christmas. As I was getting ready to use it for the first time I discovered a small chip on the lid. It's not very noticeable and won't hamper in the cooking. I'm just annoyed that it came with a chip. Anyway the Christmas turkey breast came out perfect. The duch oven evenly heats and holds the heat quite well. It's well made, heavy and a beautiful orange. Again I wish the lid wasn't chipped.

I bought the 7.5 litre pot. I was a little doubtful about the colour, as blue isn’t really my thing and I already had a shallow one in the series in red, but I was prepared to pay the considerable extra cost required to have the one in red as well! First things first - this is one heavy beast, especially when full of food. It’s definitely not for you if you have wrist or back problems. Great if you want to develop core strength while cooking though! I’m loving it for its versatility - I’ve cooked desserts, casseroles, curries, even a pair of turkey legs in it. I actually bought it for roasts, because being so deep, it reduces the amount of oven spatter. Lots more to experiment with…and the colour has grown on me…

Was looking at Le creuset for 5 times the price, thought I'd try this instead to make sure I get use out of it then maybe 'upgrade'. Honestly dont think I'd need to get the big named brand for silly money though, this is amazing!

Bei mir ist der Bräter ausschließlich als Brotbacktopf im Einsatz. Das Brot ist kross und perfekt gebacken. Einfach perfekt für mich. Ich werde noch einen für Braten Gullasch etc kaufen

Ich habe mir den Bräter zum backen von Topfbrot bestellt. In der heutigen Zeit muss man sehen wo man bleibt. Der Preis ist gerade noch annehmbar. Der Bräter wurde schnell geliefert. Natürlich hat er sein Gewicht, aber für meine Zwecke genau richtig. Das Brot wird darin super. Vorher ein wenig mit Öl einfetten und Mehl bestäuben, danach kommt das fertige Brot gut raus. Er strahlt eine enorme Hitze ab und braucht etwas bis er wieder abgekühlt ist. Ich würde ihn auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen
