Just as bright as original 50 watt DC landscape bulbs. Best feature is they have a glass layer over the LEDs so they won't get dirty or short out if rain gets into the fixture. And being only 5 Watts I get full illumination on all fixtures along the DC cable. No more light dimming the further the fixture is from the transformer. The backyard never looked so good. Thanks for the well made product!

This Bulb is worth the price not buying the old style anymore only these cheaper too operate and way brighter...thought i would buy both bulbs love the LED

Updated review: I have installed these bulbs in 3 different fixtures and I haven’t had any more failures other than those first 3 bulbs. Great halogen replacement!I have a low-voltage (12 volt) cable light system that I wanted to change from halogen to LED. Two bulbs stopped working on day 2; a third bulb stopped working a few days after that. They are VERY bright -- brighter than the 50W halogens they replaced. The light is visible out the backside of this bulb and the coverage is good. Too bad they do not last more than a few days.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to economize on their heating and lighting costs. These GU5.3 LED bulbs are equivalent to a 50 watt halogen bulb and consume only 5 watts. They are working fine in my fixtures and I dont see any quality issues for the time being.

Did a lot of research before buying these bulbs. Settled on these because I thought the 3,000k lights would have a nice, not so warm color, and be bright for our kitchen. I needed 6bulbs for my existing fixtures and this package . Installed them and they all worked and were very uniform in their appearance. Not so with the halogens bulbs they replaced. The kitchen is now well lighted with a pleasing color. They do run a bit warm, not dangerously so but warmer then I thought led lights should be when on for a while.

Got this for our RV to replace an older odd-sized MR16 LED bulb that also flickered when the water pump ran. This new bulb has a great color temperature, fits the fixture properly, and has a very stable light output. Don't know about longevity, will update if issues appear

I have a large array of traxck lights in our hallway and have been looking for LED replacements for some time - I need them with a glass backing because the shades are colored glass and I need the light spilling out behind the bulb. These bulbs fit the bill - and so I bought a trial pack. Had one fail after a couple of weeks, but the rest were OK so decided to go ahead and replace all - over 20 bulbs. First problem is that 2 never worked out of the pack. After 3 days, 2 more have failed and now I'm concerned for the rest - at least a 20% failure rate. I guess the good thing is that they are relatively inexpensive but even so they need to be fit for purpose. Its a great pity because with better quality build and they would be perfect.Update 1/18/19: 2 more bulbs have failed.........

I was unsure of this purchase at first. The description of this product, and of similar products, seemed inconsistent and dubious. I wanted a low-voltage bulb with high lumens that was also wide-angle. Most bulbs in this class are spot lights and max our with a 40deg beam angle. So I was skeptical of the description stating a 120deg beam angle. Also, from the product picture and the pattern of the LED chips I was concerned that bulb would lack the warmth and consistent light diffusion. I was immediately impressed from the moment I first turned these on. They provide a nice consistent warm light that fills the room! I have no way of knowing if the Beam Angle is a true 120deg, but I can say they are true flood lights (not spots) and that the Beam Angle must be close to the advertised 120. The only thing remaining to learn will be the longevity. Even if they only last a year, though, I'm pleased enough with these bulbs that I would seek them out again.
