Easy to assemble, made well, seems strong and works great for my slider.

The lock / latch on our sliding door broke so we grabbed this for not only security reasons but to help keep the winter cold temperatures outside. This bar is very strong with lots of adjustable settings. We sleep better (and warmer) at night knowing that door is tight and secured.

Very sturdy metal bar. No way of opening the sliding door with it. Unless you break the glass
