I am a lady in my late 40's starting to get grey hair. After 2 months without coloring my hair, I have no grey hairs! This product Zenagen Eclipse shampoo and conditioner is amazing!!

I have a great patch in the front of my hair that I absolutely dislike. Hoping this would kind of help that area. I have use this shampoo for a month, while I do color treat my hair. I did not notice any improvement in the gray patch. With that being said, I did notice that my hair did not fade as quickly between appointments. The shampoo does a really good job at cleaning my hair and reducing any residue, I do wear hair extensions, so I do see a bit of buildup as I don’t wash my hair every single day. My hair feels healthy, soft, bouncy so as far as the shampoo’s quality I would say it’s pretty good. It smells good and has a light mild scent that isn’t too floral or sweet or two overwhelming. It is on the pricier side so I’m not sure it’s a great value for the money, but it is a good shampoo overall.

Love this ZENAGEN Eclipse Color Preservation + Gray Support Shampoo and especially when used with their conditioner. I have a lot of light-colored hair extensions, and when you have hair that processed, it's difficult to keep the color in the cuticle (or no cuticle, if it's Remy hair). This shampoo is a nice, gentle bath for the extensions without getting overly aggressive in stripping color. With any extension that you wear long-term (at least blonde ones), I just expect to have to eventually tone them, and will use special chemicals to do that, along with the most conditioning color available. But until then, kind washes are in order and Zenagen is great for this. It's also great for keeping the color intact in my natural hair, which has been accruing more and more hard-to-color gray every year! Very hydrating - hair feels nice and moist, no static. Keeps those cuticles looking smooth and shiny. Color shines brighter with a smooth cuticle. Good value size on this bottle - absolutely a good value for the money, especially if it can help me keep my extensions in rotation instead of becoming someone else's short extensions! Keeps hair looking plump and moisturized, and keeps those colors true without any brassiness. Seems to add some thickness - perhaps just a conditioning coat? - to hair so that it looks lively and vibrant.

The product description is a little confusing. Initial thought when I read it was that it seemed to claim it somehow magically helped reverse graying which would have saved me from coloring my roots as often and would have been worth the price point. Once it arrived, I had to check to see if it was safe to use it on my color treated hair and wouldn't color it some random color. It is color safe and that's when logic was kicking in and I was doubting it would reverse graying hair. After using it for a while, I think I finally get what the product listing is claiming (I think lol). Gray is normally a dull color, lacks shine, and is a pain to color. My understanding now is that it improves shine and if you decide to color it, it helps the stubborn grays take the color and it lasts longer. If I'm correct on this, it holds up to that claim. I have dry curly hair and I do notice that when my roots grow out, my hair doesn't curl quite as well. This is because my curls actually love it when I add color over my gray because it adds something that it's missing and it's the only way I can actually get any resemblance of shine. Since I started using this shampoo, my grays are easier to color and it holds onto the vibrancy longer. This shampoo isn't drying at all, it actually leaves my hair feeling really moisturized after rinsing so even if I have my gray growth between coloring, my curls still cooperate and it keeps and even texture regardless if it's color treated or not. The shampoo is thick and is easy to massage into my scalp. It cleans great and removes all buildup from my curl products. It smells amazing too me but the scent goes away shortly after rinsing. My scalp can be sensitive to fragrances in shampoo but I didn't have any reaction while using this shampoo. Your happiness level with the price point will strictly depend on what you're looking to get out of it. I could be wrong, but I don't think it'll reverse it lessen gray hair. However, I do think it does a great job of making great hair look less dull, brings the coarse texture back to a soft manageable texture, and it can either bring shine to your gray hair or keep dyed gray hair looking more vibrant longer. My experience is with the shampoo only, so I can't say whether the set works even better as a set but as a shampoo alone, I'm impressed with how well it works for my hair.

Im always super skeptical of very expensive little bottles of shampoo or conditioner. I have long hair, nearly down to my waist, and so I go through a lot of shampoo and conditioner each month. I simply can’t afford luxury hair products, and especially wouldn’t budget for them if I can’t be certain of a difference. BUT!!! But, wow. This stuff is blowing me away. I’ve been using this shampoo for two weeks now. I box-color my hair “deep cherry chocolate” monthly, and I can usually notice it starting to fade to a bronzy red at the roots by the second week. Not so this time!! My hair looks like I just dyed it, despite the dye job being two weeks old now. Also, and this is so important to me: you don’t have to use much. This stuff is THICK AND RICH. With my nearly-waist-length hair, I only have to put about the size of a quarter of this shampoo into my palms to achieve a super rich lather. I’ve been religiously following the instruction to leave it in my hair for 3-5 minutes while I complete my shower. It is also such a gentle and smooth shampoo that it leaves my hair feeling conditioned and soft, somehow. I do follow with a conditioner, but unlike a lot of shampoo that leaves my hair in a tangled mess pre-conditioning, this leaves my hair relatively tangle-free. Despite my initial skepticism, I’d say that this little bottle is 100% worth every penny of the price. Outstanding!!!
