For reference Bayer 3-in-1 insecticide uses imidacloprid (and two other active ingredients) at a .47% concentration. This product is 21.4% imidacloprid. Imidacloprid is a very effective systemic insecticide. It can also be used on very sensitive plants like orchids and carnivorous plants (I grow both). Per Wiki: "Imidacloprid is a systemic insecticide belonging to a class of chemicals called the neonicotinoids which act on the central nervous system of insects. The chemical works by interfering with the transmission of stimuli in the insect nervous system." Please understand that this class of product can kill bees, if used on blooming plants.
