I've been using this cage on my S5II for more than a year, and I absolutely love it. Going back and forth between video and photo, I needed something that would allow expansion when filming but stay out of the way when shooting stills. This is exactly what I wanted. I even have another one from a brand that's positioned as more "high-end," and I actually prefer this one because of the really good ergonomics, the built-in tool, and the just-right weight. As an added bonus, I recently lost the magnetic tool on the bottom, and Neewer customer support helped me get a replacement and a spare for a very reasonable price. I own a lot of other Neewer gear (lights, clamps, arms, stands, etc.), and I am always satisfied with them. Would recommend.

So much gap I have a choice to change the way I hold with my either hands and also access for on/off toggles . It’s perfect and way cheaper than Small rigs one. I love it very much

I have always thought of Neewer as a value proposition: usually the lowest-priced or close to the lowest-priced, but you get a product that is a step or two above the bottom-of-the-barrel. This full cage I bought for my Panasonic G9II blew away my expectations. For the lowest price I paid one day before Prime Day because of a coupon, I get a product which is simply excellent- the workmanship, the studiness, the thoughful design. (Although I am not sure how much of that is their original idea or 'borrowed' idea...) Yes it is not perfect. The biggest drawback in my opinion is that the included HDMI cable clamp gets in the way of the LCD screen flipping out, which stops at around 150 degrees or so? instead of the full 180 degrees. But more expensive competitors aren't even necessarily better. This totally changes my perception of Neewer as a brand. They've gained my trust.
