Has anyone had a problem with the fluid in these fading over time in sunlight? I will be installing on the exterior of a rv and the cheap levels fade.

Thank you for your interest in this product. The tube assembly is shatterproof polymer and the brass indicator-ball rides in special damping fluid. Background is neon yellow for high visibility and we have many customers tell us their Lev O Gage has been mounted on their boat/RV for years.

My travel trailor slops back about 5 to 10 degrees. How will that effect how this gauge works?

While traveling the small ball inside the gauge will move. When stopped at your site the gauge will indicate the angle of lean. This type of gauge is mainly used for the refrigerator. Which depending on the brand will usually be less than 3 degrees side to side or less than 6 degrees front to back.

Can these be mounted with any less-permanent adhesive? I'd like to try these with something less permanent before totally committing.

It just has a double-sided adhesive pad, so I'm sure you could remove it with a little effort. Then you can use an outdoor mounting tape such as 3M 4011 once you're ready to commit.

During frigid winters, will the fluid freeze and burst the unit?

We had big freezes in Texas this winter. Level still looks good.
