Skylanders Giants - Giant Character Pack - Crusher

Thumpback is one of eight Giants Skylanders and represents the elemental Water source. Be aware that this figure does NOT work with the original Skylanders, "Spyro's Adventure". Design: Thumpback is nearly twice the height of regular Skylander figures and has a solid, high-quality feel to it. The figure is based on whales and shows morphological features of both, baleen whales and toothed whales. The water base and purple barnacles on his wrists are translucent. Set on the portal, his wrist protection will glow with a dark blue colour. There are no other illuminating parts to the toy. Thumpback is rich in detail in sculpt and paint: his body colour varies from light blue to a darker colour, his back is littered with barnacles, paint on armour parts, chain. eyes, tongue and toes is applied nicely without too much overlap onto other parts of the figure. The only thing I dislike is the lack of colour detailing on his shoulder pads (e.g. backwash). Certainly one of the better looking Skylanders out there! Gameplay: Thumpback has two default attacks: He can swing his anchor in a wide arch, dealing damage to all enemies in reach. Thumpback can even perform a combo by pressing buttons in a specific sequence (easy to carry out for young gamers). His secondary attack is a belly flop, allowing him to cover ground faster and hitting enemies in the process. This attack is excellent as Thumpback is usally slow (speed 20) and would otherwise struggle to finish some of the Heroic Challenges of the game. His third attack lets him bite enemies to inflict large amounts of damage. Upgrade paths allow further development of his anchor or concentrate on his belly flopping and chomping. The former alters the look and damage of the anchor attack and gives Thumpback extra attack combos, such as using his anchor to create a whirlpool. The latter allows biting during belly sliding and releasing a stream of water (and seastars) through blowhole and mouth. It also improves his armour significantly. The only downside: Thumpback's belly slide is difficult to control, so prepare to slide of ledges or to get stuck in obstacles from time to time. My verdict: I absolutely love Thumpback! He is fun to play, looks good and even provides some educational value by teaching kids the difference between whales of the mysticete and odontocete family. Highly recommended! Great gift

I bought this for my son, who already had lots of skylanders including some Giants, and he loved it. He liked it on and off the screen because of the light up feature and the texture of the actual character. It is very tactile. he also like what it could do in the game. He is quite experienced with Skylanders but was definitely impressed.

Can I start by saying that if I had based my purchase on the feedback left by some people, then I would not have bothered and gone elsewhere. I am so glad that I went for this character as it is fantastic! Not only is this a brand new figure, it came in a limited edition swap force box (much to the delight of my son), it came with the cards and stickers and also a limited edition upgrade for the game. So very happy and really pleased with this purchase. Definately 5 mega stars to you x

I have said it about a few Skylanders products already but i will say it again, i think they are overpriced. However the kids love them and they are sturdy and well made. The fact that we now have figures over a year old with none broken and all still looking in good condition in my house with a five and twelve year old boy is a miricle. As for this particular character my kids say he's awesome.

It was top of the Christmas list so we bought it and the giants game and other family members bought other characters etc. Pros He likes the characters and they are good models / toys in their own right. He was fantastically excited to get it for christmas. He enjoyed playing the game. There are so many bits to add on that there was something at every price for others to buy. He will probably keep these models long after he stops playing the game. Cons He had finished the game in a week. Collecting up all the extras is never going to be as exciting as finding a new level. Including the game he probably has about £160 worth of Skylanders Giants - surely we could have found something better to spend that money on.

They really liked it

I think if she was a part of the Series 1 Skylanders she would've had a lot more detail put into her. However she is pretty to look at, especially when she's on the portal and the light comes through her wings. She's a lot of fun to play with, quick and very powerful. She's worth the buy!

Les enfants sont ravis : Skylander très puissant et figurine sympa . Par contre ne faite pas attention à la description : elle ne vas pas sur une 2DS (ça n'existe pas!) Mais elle vas bien sur la Wii et autre plateforme à partir du moment où c'est un Giants .

Tutto molto buono!!Ti avvisano quando hanno spedito la merce,normalmente la spedizione avviene il giorno dopo che hai fatto l'ordine e puoi tracciare il pacco finchè non ti viene consegnato.L'unica cosa sono un pò lenti nella consegna,circa 5-6 giorni.In genere la merce acquistata on-line mi arriva al massimo in 2-3 giorni però considerato che non ti fanno pagare le spese di spedizione è giusto che sia così.Quindi sono abbastanza soddisfatta e il prodotto corrisponde perfettamente a quello richiesto"
