Why is milk in this product?  Is there a diary free version?

Good question. Although milk is not an added ingredient, this multivitamin does include a strain of probiotics derived from milk fermentation, so there may be trace amounts of milk in the product. 
Because we know that not everyone can tolerate dairy, even in trace amounts, we've decided to switch to another probiotic strain that does not involve milk fermentation. In the future, this product will be dairy free! Check back in a few months; it'll be clearly marked on the packaging.

From what sources are the vitamins and minerals derived? I’m looking fo a dairy free grain free multivitamin. I need to be sure! Thanks, sadie

Sadie, although our Women's Multivitamin for Stress Support is grain-free, it is not dairy-free. Our multivitamin contains trace amounts of milk from the fermentation process that produces our probiotics. In most cases, this is not enough to cause digestive trouble. But for those with heightened sensitivity to dairy, we have made the decision to remove the milk from our next production run. You’ll be happy to know that in the future, our Women’s Stress Support multivitamin will be certified vegan.

Magnesium stearate?  i didn't think naturewise used that.  and where is the gmp seal?  thank you!

Dear Missouri Beth,

Thank you for your question. This is the most complex formula we have ever produced. It literally has over 140 ingredients in it. We spent months trying to physically manufacture this product with only rice bran extract or rice flour, but it was physically impossible for so many diverse ingredients to "flow" through the machines and into the capsules with success. There are many "sicky" ingredients in the formula, and in the end, the only way to produce it was to use a vegetarian version of stearate to support the ingredients "flowing" into the capsules. This has no impact on the efficacy of the product, and this vegetable-based stearate is indeed non-gmo and very clean. So, we feel very good about it and grateful that we could produce such a complex and complete product. And, of course, we produced this in our GMP, NSF compliant facility, like all of our products. We have removed the actual GMP logo on packaging because we are using the mobile transparency technology on our packaging to convey directly to consumers the level of quality, safety, and compliance that our products have. Did the bottle packaging change? I received a plastic bottle with a black cap not the glass bottle with the silver cap.
