This chisel is very solid and well built. It feels strong and durable, and it works great for demolition and masonry tasks. The flat head does a good job breaking concrete, and the hand guard is a big plus—it really helps protect your hand and makes the tool feel safer to use. The grip is comfortable and gives good control, even during heavier work. I’ve used it on a few tough jobs and it has held up very well. Overall, a high-quality tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended.

Huge and solid chisel that works as intended. The hand guard is a good feature for someone not inclined on using hammers often.

I needed a 1” or smaller brick chisel to clean off old caulking and mortar from my brick steps. This has been perfect — very heavy duty (better than a 2 ¼” chisel Mayhew I bought from Home Depot). Yes, the chisel slips down inside the handle, but that doesn’t impede the functionality, is a minor annoying, and is quickly and easily rectified. I don’t know how this would work for a professional brick mason, but it ticked every box for me.

The chisel is effective at chiselling. Seems durable but everytime I struck the chisel with my hammer, it made a loud sharp noise I did not appreciate.

Very heavy duty chisel. The hand guard is a helpful addition. Will split larger rocks fairly easily with a 3lb sledgehammer. Would buy again.

Good news is I didn’t smack my hand. The product works. After continuous pounding thou, the orange flange would slip down. It doesn’t stay in place with repeated hitting. So glad it was these thou, or I would have some broken fingers. Overall, it is a fine product.

I had to chip the mortar off of some stones that used to form a chimney. It worked well. I'm really happy about the guard at the top. Saved my hands many times from a hammer strike.

Works great for digging out really tough bamboo root.

I used this at an amethyst mine. Great hand grip and protector. Nice weight.

I used this go remove concrete from a breeze block wall. It worked extremely well and the job was completed relatively quickly (despite my very basic DIY knowledge). Like other reviewers have stated, the handle guard does move around a lot so be careful when you are using that hammer!

So glad I bought this my son is forever hit his t fingers when chiseling so this will save his hands. Good item well made would recommend this
