Physics student book for the new Combined Science GCSE course
This is the student book for the government's latest changes to the GCSE courses (introduced over the last couple of years), covering all the physics topics of the Combined Science GCSE course. The book is in colour with great diagrams, figures and graphs to illustrate ideas, and there is also a unique code in each book that gives access to further online resources from CGP books. The book covers all the major GCSE topics: Working Scientifically Topic 1 Energy Topic 2 Electricity Topic 3 Particle Model of Matter Topic 4 Atomic Structure Topic 5 Forces Topic 6 Waves Topic 7 Magnetism and Electromagnetism The new GCSE courses are all based on final exam, and reflecting that, the book has a good supply of questions included. Each section has exam-style Physics questions, but there are also some short practice questions integrated into the text to help the student test their understanding of what they just read. At the back of the book is a section with tips on exam technique.
