The Adventure Tarot: A Road Trip―Inspired Deck for Self-Discovery & Belonging

Wow, The Adventure Tarot totally blew me away! It's not your typical tarot deck, it's more like a portal to an epic adventure. The art is incredible. Every card is bursting with color and cool little details like gold-foiled edges; it really brings the whole adventure vibe to life. Seriously, from sun-baked deserts to starry campsites, it just feels spot-on. But what really sets The Adventure Tarot apart is its down-to-earth feel. Forget those confusing tarot books written in another language. The guidebook reads like a conversation with a close friend sharing insights and encouraging you to go deep and trust your gut. This deck is perfect whether you're a tarot pro or a complete newbie. It's for anyone who needs a spark of inspiration, a push to try something new, or just a way to connect with their inner explorer.

Probably one of my favorite tarot decks and I can’t believe how affordable it was. A hidden treasure for sure. The deck has such a nurturing light hearted energy that is really refreshing. A lot of the “scary” cards are depicted in a way that makes you feel safe and held when pulling them. If you’re an adventurous spirit looking for a nurturing deck for reflective readings, you have to give it a try. This is my new go to. Always spot on as well.

I bought these for a family road trip to the coast. It was the perfect choice and the cards resonated so naturally. The imagery of the cards are beautiful and the messages were perfectly in tuned to me.

As a collector of diverse and inclusive modern tarot decks, I pre-ordered this deck as soon as I saw it was focused on people from the Asian diaspora. It was worth the wait. The card stock is flexible and matte, which makes it easy to shuffle out the gate. Some of the cards were stuck together but it was easy to separate them. There's also a beautiful gold iridescent edging that goes with the a fun purple and iridescent back. Although the author mentioned in the guidebook that she doesn't do reversals (and doesn't cover them in the book), you can use the cards for them. The artwork is also obviously stunning. My only other complaint is that I didn't resonate with about half of the author's meanings for the cards. If you are super into traditional RWS meanings and imagery, you can still use these though. But if you are new to the tarot, I don't think I would suggest this as your first deck. (For instance the five of pentacles to me if feeling like you're in the outside looking in and this illustration has someone literally inside looking out. So small things like that.) There are other meanings as well that overall just have a very positive take on all the cards, even those that aren't positive. Overall though I'm super excited to add this deck to my growing collection.

This deck truly symbolises and embodies the journey you go through in life that only you know about and must navigate. Its totally introspective and makes me feel like its talking to my inner self. So personal. The card stock is thick and sturdy, and they're really matte, almost cardboardy, which I love! The guide book is written with a light hand very conversational, and the paper actually reminds me of a paperback novels which I find so nostalgic,not magaziney like others. I also love how the three of cups has a girl in hijab! Thank you go much to the author and illustrator for actually considering us Muslims for once. We are humans, women and love tarot and road trips too!

In response to other reviews, card stock is about 330 gsm. Feels light but is very durable. Nice matte gilding. Great quality. I would say this is a perfect beginner deck. It's focused on self care and self knowledge, not every possible meaning. Not everyone wants or needs to go any further, although it's wonderful if they do. I'm always open to a new perspective.

These cards are so stunning. I absolutely love these. I bought extras for gifts because I want everyone I know that’s into tarot to have a set of these cards. They are a bit stiff to shuffle, but after using them for a while they get better.

This is definitely not a new deck ! I am very disappointed! No wrapping whatsoever No plastic ! Nothing !!! Cards are not in order at all So it’s obvious someone returned this and then muggins- me - ordered and was sent this . Will contact the publishing house I want a new deck For me that is important . The illustrations otherwise are amazing
