Great customer service. I had a problem and they sent me a whole outer unit. Works very well now. Easy to use and grandkids live putting their small river bed finds in. I like to tumble my jade for Indian jewelry. It is a little noisy but much quieter than my old tumbler. Feels very heavy duty. I have it in same room as my baby chicks who seem to accept it as background noise. Would buy again as gift.

I give this a 5 star mainly due to Daisy in customer support. When the tumbler arrived it would not work at all. I was going to return it, but i noticed the great customer service reviews. Not only did I get a rapid response , but was given concise instructions on what to do. I took a video, sent it to Daisy and the very next day was told that the problem was determined it to be a faulty adapter. She sent a new one, which arrived quickly. I plugged it in and it has been running for the past five days without a hitch. Thank you Daisy. Time will tell if I can polish rocks or not. After using the tumbler for about two weeks, polishing rocks that had already been worked using another tumbler, I am thoroughly happy. Considering the cost I feel it is a great little machine. I must admit that I purchased some 8000 grit, and found it did a better job than the 1200. The tumbler is quiet, (I have it in my den), runs without a hitch, and is easy to use. The combination of great customer support, and a machine that does all I want, I would recommend this, especially to the beginners and young geologists. The rocks look better than my mediocre photos.

This is my first experience with rock tumbling, and this tumbler seems ideal for beginners. It seems solid and well constructed. I like being able to set the speed (3 speeds), and number of days to tumble. It’s not super quiet, but not too noisy. I have mine in the garage, and can’t hear it at all from the house. They sent a bonus bag of nice assorted rocks to get started, and enough of the various grits of tumbling media to get started.

Tumblr is working great and is pretty quiet (about the same as our clothes dryer). Customer Service is fantastic. We received the extra 1 pound bag of rocks after reaching out to the company based on the instructions posted. They were quick to respond and let us know as soon as they shipped out the rocks. We're really excited to see how oir first batch comes out, but I've already peaked on their progress and they're looking great!

The good : This came with a lot of useful tools and information that my Nat Geo tumbler did not come with such as a screwdriver for just in case, very detailed directions, teflon tape to preserve the integrity of the barrel, and a replacement belt, just to name a few things. It also came with a bag of rocks and some ceramic media in addition to the grit packets. I also liked that it goes into detail about the importance of the Mohs hardness scale and how to use it to get better results. The less good: it is not very quiet as compared to the quiet nat geo tumbler. It is advertised as a 3 lb rock tumbler, but in the fine print says the 3 lbs is max capacity and that the optimal load should be around 1 lb. It tells you to lubricate the belt before your first tumble, but does not tell/show you where the belt is (I found it - little compartment on the back). They do not provide the lubricant for this step… I used what I had on hand: chain lube for my Bicycle It also advises to wrap the contact points on the barrel with the teflon tape they provide but, when I did this, the barrel wouldn’t rotate because it couldn’t get any traction (the tape is too smooth for this to work). In summation, it’s a good little tumbler, so far. I think it has room for improvement in the aforementioned areas, and prefer my quiet nat geo tumbler over this one because it actually holds more and is quiet. Time will tell how they compare regarding durability, but I just started my first batch and can’t speak to that just yet.

This is a great little machine. It’s a well built product, it’s super easy to use, and it comes with very good instructions, even suggesting what kinds of rocks to tumble together and what can happen if you tumble the wrong rocks together. (If you are a beginner like me and you find the rocks are disintegrating or it seems like it’s not working, keep working at it, it takes practice.) I’m glad I spent a little extra for the brushless AND the fact it works within an enclosed case, it’s much quieter than others I’ve seen friends use. There is an offer to obtain additional rocks and an extended warranty. I almost wrote this off as a gimmick but emailed the request anyway and to my delight Daisy responded the next day! And I actually received the extra rocks 3 days after she responded! She even followed up to make sure I got them. This company could teach a class on customer service.

This is a quality tumbler that is well made, easy to operate and appears to be a workhorse after 6 months of continuous use. The tumbler is pretty quiet with rubber barrels and an enclosure to dull the sound of the tumbling action. Minimal maintenance required. A drop of oil on the belt every month or so and that's it. The barrels are easy to open and close with no leaking. Holds about 2.5 lbs of material per tumble at 2/3rds of barrel capacity. I've had good results tumbling both hard rocks such as agates and softer rocks like obsidian with the right recipe. I have 6 Koolstone tumblers running 24/7. I had an issue with a stripped lid attachment on the handle on one barrel. Koolstone customer service responded within two days and sent a new barrel at no charge within a week. The company stands by their product. Definitely recommend for rock tumbler hobbyists.

Been using for about a month without issue. Much quieter than I expected, comparable to a dish washer. Easy to use and included guide helps you get started, customer service is good too. They offer additional rocks to tumble for free if you contact them via email and those came without issue too!

I bought this to tumble some seaglass that I had collected that just wasn't quite tumbled enough. The kit comes with a set of rocks and 1 pack each of 4 different grades of grit from Corse to very fine. They include an extra belt, stuff to make jewelry, great instructions and a card to email for additional rocks. It's very quiet, sturdy easy to use and good quality. I did email for extra rocks and it was great customer service. I mentioned that I didn't get the extra belt when I communicated with Daisy for the additional rocks. She was very helpful and professional and said that she'd make sure I got a belt with my rocks. Within a week I had my product and she followed up to ensure I had received it. Awesome all round.

Order for my son at Christmas and it worked for a 2 months it's nice and quite and fits a good amount of rocks. But One day it just wouldnt start when powered on. Contacted them through Amazon and was quickly sent a replacement unit. Great customer service

This is good but is really noisy and has vibrated itself off surfaces. Only comes with enough of the packages to do one batch of rocks. But we are happy with the quality of it and the customer service has been wonderful. They sent us a second batch of rocks to put through. Has good directions and easy to use buttons etc.

The tumbler is so quiet! We are on the second stage, and now realize why people have multiple tumblers, haha! Pretty sure we will be doing the same, and we will 100% buy from you again. Everything was as promised, and the service and communication were stellar!!
