I bought this as an alternative to spending $250 on the name-brand version. I checked the reviews and thought it was worth a try. When it arrived, it was extremely easy to install and worked right out of the box. I set up the code, and it worked fine. I tried to set up the fingerprint recognition, and although the app said it was OK, I was never able to get it to work. I wasn’t too worried about it as long as the keypad worked. Two days in, I was really pleased with myself. Then, when my wife tried to open the door, none of the lights lit up. I replaced the batteries, and it worked fine again. Until the next day, and nothing worked. The numbers did not light up, it didn’t respond, and the app wouldn’t open up the door either. Luckily, someone was in the house. I removed the back of the lock, adjusted the batteries slightly, and it started to work again. Now it only works if you remove and then reinsert the battery before you use it. This obviously does not help when nobody else is in the house. The autolock function doesn’t work either. I now have to buy the expensive name-brand one because we are worried we will be locked out of our house. In theory, this is a great product at a great price, but it’s totally unreliable. And, of course, when I went to return it, the product return window had gone.

Love love love this lock!! Because of all the options available with this lock, we were able to give access to our adult children, as well as temporary access to friends or other family members who may be coming for a visit. Unfortunately, we lost our entire home to a house fire the week of Thanksgiving. However, when our house is rebuilt, we will definitely be purchasing this lock again. The app was extremely user-friendly and being able to set up fingerprint passcodes, number pass codes, and even temporary key fobs was easier than expected. The lock operated exactly as expected 100% of the time. I love tha it also comes with an actual key. I do wish that the battery life extended a little further than it did, but that is about the only negative thing I can think of.

Overall this is a fantastic product for the price. Love the look and feel, people compliment my lock which is saying something. I like the voice feedback and self locking. Install was very easy and straightforward. I don't love the app connectivity. It's a little wonky because you basically have to wake the lock by touching it or interacting with it in order to control it with the app. So to change codes or any other settings I essentially have to be next to the lock. The fingerprint reader is so so, works well for me, others have mixed results. As long as they have a code it's not a huge deal. I guess I would say don't count on it to be 100%, have a backup just in case. All in all I'm happy with the quality.

So easy to install in an existing deadbolt and the new (to me) lock application software (TTLock) is very intuitive. Up and running in 15 minutes!

EDIT after one year: I have found the lock works well with the IC card, however most of the other modes are a bit too finicky. The touch pad takes several attempts and the fingerprint pad rarely works. Also, when using the touchpad to lock from outside requires multiple attempts. Original review: Installation was straight forward. I replaced an existing keyed deadbolt with this smart lock on our guest house. Makes things much easier for providing access to guests. If you have ever installed a door lock you will have no problems. Programing access is intuitive and simple. Key cards are readily available here on Amazon. Fingerprint function has been hit or miss. When using the number pad you must touch the pad to wake it and then enter passcode which I find a bit quirky. I get false or delayed notifications on occasion. I did receive an update recently so we will see if it helps. All other functions work fine. I had a gateway from another source and this lock connected with no issues. I can lock and unlock the deadbolt from wifi with no issues. You must be within Bluetooth range to manage settings and to add access codes/cards. Bluetooth connection can be difficult as it does not connect consistently so you have to try numerous times.

Love this lock. So I can’t lock it from a different location or too far from it with your phone, but it’s still super amazing. Great app, great features, super easy to use and set up, it locks perfectly and you can create a code for each person. And for visitors you can make a temp code or I just give them the key card like a hotel would when they come to stay. Works like a charm, great price, and it tells you when it’s locked and unclocked with a voice. I don’t want to say it’s noisy when locking it does make a locking and a motorized sound but nothing that would bother anyone, except your pets knowing your home ir leaving the house. But connects perfectly and I literally have zero complaints. I would highly recommend to anyone.
