The perfect work pant!
I couldn't find my usual B-151s so I gave this model a chance. And let me tell you I like them better. Better fit. True to size. Feels more durable yet still comfortable. My new favorite Carhartt.

HUGE legs
Great fitting in the upper quarter but absolutely HUGE from the crotch down. Had to return them. (And I have squatter's thighs)

Form, function and utility says it all
If you like pockets for your stuff ,tools , phone & whatever ,these are nearly perfect. I own 6 pairs of this model & several others of the loose fit model. These pants sit a bit lower at the waist than the others, I prefer that .They also seem to be a bit softer , although they are stated in the specs as being the same. They also have a trimmer fit than the loose fit model. They wear and last very well. They did shorten the watch pocket that I use for a pair of cobra pliers so they lost a star there. Most people probably won’t notice.

Solid fit feel & function
Great work pants, good fit for me true to size. Only thing I wish is there could be some flex without sacrificing the solid feel of these canvas pants. Crouching kneeling etc can be annoying in these if I’m having a fat day lol. When I’m feeling trim and fit they can still be annoying but that’s the trade off of having a rigid and durable pant. Overall they are great and serve their purpose well.

If you are gifted in the seat and thighs, go up 2 in the waist
I am 6’3, ~230 pounds. I am thick in the seat and the thighs, and typically have to buy “athletic” pant styles in size 36” waist, 34” length to be able to sit and walk comfortably in pants. I recommend to all my thiccc friends to go up 2” in waist. I got the 38” by 34” and found that this gave me perfect room in the seat and thighs, and the extra waist seems to compensate as the waist seems a bit shorter on these Carhartt pants compared to other brands. If you are skinnier in legs and waist, you should be OK in your normal size, but be cautious as the waistband feels a bit tighter compared to say Levis. That should take care of the sizing from the knee up, if you are worried about below the knee I found these “relaxed fit” to be great for what I wanted it for: outdoors work. If you want more room below the knee, look at the “loose fit”. For loose fit style too it seems you also should go up 2” in the waist size if you are gifted in the upper legs - a blessing and sometimes a curse, I know.
