I’m so glad I saw the sale on this canister. I love getting that freshly roasted smell of coffee when I pull open the seal. The size was as I’d hoped, as it holds my one pound of Peet’s whole bean coffee. The seal is easy to close and the canister keeps my coffee beans fresh and ready for grinding. Bonus that it looks so nice on the counter, too - no large label or graphic staring out at me.

This is the second AirScape coffee canister that I have purchased. I purchased this one because I was so pleased with the air tightness of the product. The design of the lid system is unique in that the inner lid forces air out and the outer lid prevents the introduction of other materials. The canister body is made of stainless steel so it is durable and should last a lifetime time. I chose this size to store ground coffee. It is just the right size to hold an 18 ounce bag of ground coffee. The copper color is appealing though I might have preferred matte black to match the larger AirScape canister in which I store whole bean coffee. Because of the quality of the product and its unique design, I believe it is a good value. It should enhance my coffee drinking experience.

Most awesome canister ever. I love it and went back and bought a second one in a different size. I use one for coffee and one for the brown sugar. I want more! Works great and keeps everything fresh.

This is the second canister I have purchased. I purchased the tall one first, but wasn't quite large enough to hold my 38oz bags of coffee beans, so I purchased the smaller size. The design of this is really cool. It keeps the coffee beans super fresh and the coffee always tastes fresh. These truly are airtight, the size is perfect, fits into my cabinet, you can take this wear ever you go and use it for other things besides coffee. I think the price is right for the quality of this product.

This is a little gem for keeping your beans fresh. I buy fresh roasted beans from a supplier in Florida and once I open the sealed bag I needed a place to store what beans I don't grind. This fits the bill very nicely and keeps the beans sealed very well. From my experience it is reasonably airtight.

perfect for storing coffee (beans, grounds, or instant crystals). and there really isn't anything similar to these Airscapes canisters. they work amazingly for long term storage. the lids get easier to move over time as you use them by the way. do note however that the oz volume and what you buy in weight are not necessarily going to be the same. 7 oz of instant coffee crystals may have more volume than 7 oz of grounds depending on the producer, so this technically held all 7 oz of instant crystals I intended it for but that's without the outer lid or inner lid. similarly, the big canister has a healthy amount of room for a full 2.2 lbs of whole bean coffee with both lids on. This small one should be advised for, obviously, smaller portion packages.

I find this product to be fantastic. Easy to handle. Easy to clean. I would've gave it 5 star but the color I chose came out a little darker than what was shown on the picture. This container is a keeper

update Nov 30 - been using it for a few weeks now and the beans I kept in it have stayed fresh and aromatic, and the coffee is great. I even kept my coffee scale away and just use a 1/3 cup scoop to make pour over coffee into a 16oz travel mug now that it's easy to scoop the beans out. No more rolling the tops of coffee bean bags to squeeze out the air. Very happy. I was skeptical about this and would have gotten the electric Fellow coffee container if they hadn’t run out of the white one. I just received this and took it out of the box, and I have to say, they did a really nice job of packaging and designing this to feel really nice in your hands. The “plunger” action is smooth and positive (so far) in both directions and everything just doesn’t have a cheap feel to it. Just washed it and am waiting for it to completely dry out before using it with actual coffee beans. Nicely done, Planetary Design team!

O melhor recipiente para armazenar café que já testei, e testei muitos! É muito fácil de fechar, a tampa interna renove muito bem o ar mas aí é que aparecer o único ponto negativo aí meu ver: o vácuo criado torna difícil abrir a tampa externa. Se ela tivesse um botão para aliviar a pressão, aí seria perfeito.

Whilst the product is well designed the soft padded envelope used for shipment was inadequate. The canister arrived with a dent near the bottom. This is the strongest point of the container. It must have received a good whack. Pity.
