It is also beautifully presented and easy to follow. There is an incredible amount of useful information in this book. Apart from having it to hand while you're working on a project, you'll also find yourself picking it up while you're sat in the chair with a cup of coffee because the information and how it is presented is just incredibly interesting. If you love sewing, no matter what age you are or what level or standard you are at, or how much you think you already know you will absolutely love this book. It's a really beautiful book, jam packed with superb information. What more can I say?.....just get the book! P.S. I'm not the author! Great book, may even buy another one!
I bought this for my friend as she has just started dressmaking (not her birthday yet so don't know what she thinks), but I think it's an excellent book and would happily have kept it for myself; I may even order myself one later! Excellent book for learning techniques and a great reference guide
Excellent. Detailed and clear, exactly what I needed as a learner at sewing clothes. Explains the mysteries of patterns. Very well written with useful pictures. Highly recommend.
