This is my first ever audio interface. For about a year I was using a blue yeti usb mic but I knew that I would eventually need to transition to using an xlr mic. Thankfully with how affordable this device was I managed to get all the equipment I needed, as far as audio, in no time! This little audio interface works great! I have no issues or complaints. I'm not sure how heavy most interfaces are but this one is pretty lite, so i can't say much on build quality but it seems good. Easy to use for sure. If you are looking for a budget friendly option I would absolutely recommend this item 100%!

Unlike another reviewer who said it didn't work with DAW, the unit I received provided both a Microphone and Playback device on a Windows PC. The input records the mix from the device to PC just fine, and the output from PC plays back to both the headphone jack and the Main Outputs on the device. It is advertised as Ultra-low Latency, however, the latency from this device is worse than my computer's microphone and headphone jacks. I am using this device as a near real-time effects processor, where the input is recorded, modified, and sent back to the output (through the Insert on a mixer), and the latency is noticeably worse than when using the headset jack on my computer. I got this device because I needed multiple inputs/outputs, so I needed an additional in/out separate from the built-in headset jack. But otherwise it works as advertised.

I bought this USB audio interface to improve the quality of my home recordings, and it truly exceeded my expectations. It's an affordable and reliable option for anyone looking for an easy way to connect their microphone and start recording in a home studio.
