Locktite and flip
Fit right onto a maverick 88, only issue I had was the screw that you have to mount inside the the chamber donโt forget to use blue lock tight ***IMO*** flip the shell holder for best results before mounting, the angle cut helps with getting round out the holder faster for quicker reloads good price & looks good.

Nice Upgrade for Mav 88 or 500
Works great with Mav 88, I really like how you can see under the rail and use the original bead sight. Easy install.

Good purchase with minor problem.
The actual mount fit the Mossberg Shockwave well. The directions were minimal but understandable. The biggest problem was the replacement screw in the chamber. I had to fit it with 3 different bits and almost stripped the head even after matching up an appropriate bit. It came with extra screws and not needed pieces with star Allen wrenches. Might as well throw in a Philips bit or even a flat head as assembled by mossberg. I do like the side saddle and rail.

DO NOT BUY - Mav88
MAVERICK 88: DO NOT BUY!!! The side saddle itself seems really well constructed, it is an extremely tight fit. The problem though as others have said is the screws are GARBAGE. None of them line up as they should, donโt fit properly and when you try to get them installed as per the woeful instructions, and I watched a few youtube videos for clarity, nothing worked. Brought it to someone knowledgeable of firearms he looked at it and barely touched it and said, โnope, return itโ. Will be brining it to UPS store tomorrow. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

TOO TIGHT
As others said you may have to open up unit so you WON'T mark up your guns finish. I used a 2x4 piece to hammer to spread out the tongues. I still marked up my mavericks finish. The screws provided to mount unit are soft and can strip heads. My holes did line up but the hole, that you install the screw through the open breach, on my gun was not threaded all the way through. Thus stripping the head of the provided screw. They did provide 2 screws, I wonder why? But only those two. THE SCREWS ARE AN ISSUE TO ME. THEY NEED TO PROVIDE MORE OR HARDER SCREWS. If you are going to clean your trigger, bolt, and other parts around them after every use, the soft screws are going to be an issue, in my opinion. The two screws in the pin holding in the trigger in place also holds the unit in place. If you did not spread the unit wide enough every time you have to pull the pin you will mark up your gun more to pull the pin. All of the issues I had and still see as issues I really like this unit. The rail is NOT a screw on rail. It is molded as part of the unit. The unit is stiff or firm NOT easy to bend. Thus why I had to take a 2x4 to try to spread to tongues. So I will say it is a solid unit. I like it !! I will update with any issues or likes.

Practical & Tacticool
Rail fits perfectly onto the Mossberg Maverick 88, just be careful not to overtighten any screws when you secure it to the firearm. This picatinny rail gives you so many more options for modern day optics to be mounted for use, although you can use the original bead iron sights through the center channel after install if you really want. Be careful when sliding on the mount to avoid any of the scracthing issues people have talked about, just go slow and thoughtful, I installed mine with no issues. Very impressed by the overall construction and feel, as well as the shells holding snugly without any visible migration.

Pretty good, happy with the rail, quality is good, fit and finish are fine
This side saddle is well-made and fits my 590 Shockwave shotgun perfectly. To install it, apply some gun oil to the bottom of the saddle to ensure it slides smoothly onto the shotgun. Using oil will prevent scratches. The main screw is a bit tight and requires being pushed from the inside out through the back of the shotgun to secure it, as the hole is not fully threaded for such a screw. Otherwise, there are no major installation issues. In terms of improvements, I would like the hardware to be flush, without a nut on the back to secure the screw.

Amazing quality and look
This fit so nicely on my shotgun. Just a heads up for those who like to clean their guns out: this will add an extra step, but to me it's worth it. Makes the gun look bad ass, plus I added a red dot

Great quality, simple install
Great quality product! Instructions are pretty bad but simple enough to figure out without them. Comes with additional hardware thatโs not needed? As per other reviews a little bit of oil on the product and receiver will have it slide on with minimal scratching. Overall would definitely recommend, looks great and functional.

Not compatible with 590m
High quality but it is not compatible with 590m. Need another drill for the screw

Fits great holds shells tight
Was a bit sceptical at first. fits great holds shells tight. Looks killer. Mossberg 500. Defiantly see how people are scratching the guns I was able to just slide the one side on and use my hands to spread it to get the other side on with no scratches. just take your time.
