Fantastic for my Purpose! (And one thing you should consider before buying: See last paragraph)
I was originally worried about this product because it looks nearly identical to the Pyle version that I originally bought and disliked so much that I returned it. However, I was very happy the few things that were different for this Tec Mojo version were the exact fixes that the Pyle version needed (and this one was actually cheaper, which is nice but not my primary concern). Specifically, the on/off switch on the Tec Mojo PDU actually turns off the back outlets - Hallelujah! That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me with the Pyle - not being to turn anything off on the back outlets was a huge problem. Additionally, though not a dealbreaker because I can work around it, the Tec Mojo mounting bracket was a better fit for a standard 1U rack height. Something to be aware of is that the power cord for this unit is also shorter than the Pyle's (somewhere around 4-6 ft shorter). I actually think this is a benefit because it's much easier to add an extension cord to make it longer than it is to trim the cord if it is too long. The only thing that might be a problem for some people is that the Tec Mojo's product description (and even the product manual!) said that the on/off switch was "plastic cover encased", which was not true for mine and also is not true in their product images. I don't know why they claim that everywhere when it is demonstrably not true but they do I am including images of my Tec Mojo PDU, its on/off, and a different company (Cyberpower)'s on/off switch. in the last photo, you can see what a plastic cover encased on/off switch looks like. this would be helpful for some people who are worried about bumping into the switch and accidentally shutting down a whole rack during a performance or a whole server rack. While I personally can overlook that - it may be a dealbreaker for someone using this on a live tour or for a professional server rack.

Great for racks and shelves!!
Holds shelves/equipment securely on your racks. I've put a couple of racks together with these screw sets and had no problems with quality or assembly. Great buy! Awesome parts!

Great PDU
This PDU works great. The pigtails allow for several more receptacles than most PDUs (3 front and 16 rear, plus four front USB ports). The only downside to the pigtails is you have to use two hands to connect equipment, because there is nothing solid to push against when connecting equipment. Also, it’s not shown in the photos, but there is a safety cover over the power switch, so you don’t accidentally hit it. I’m actually thrilled about that, because, prior to receiving the PDU, I had been researching solutions to solve that problem. Finally, I do wish the cord was a bit longer, but i can live with it.

The ultimate power problem solver for rackmount setups
I've had this in the back of my rack for a while now and it hasn't failed me. Like "are you serious, HOW MANY outlets does it have?!" It's great for me because I actually have that many things to power in my setup and I don't want to have to resort to multiple power strips or an awkwardly long or bulk one, and that it has wired sockets hanging off means no fighting for space for those weirdly-shaped wall warts. The three extra sockets on the back are perfect for my amplified 2.1 speaker setup, and the cord is long enough to move the whole thing across the room if I have to. Well worth the investment at this price.

Good PDU for certain applications
This PDU works well; I've had no issues with heat or failing plugs. Consider the mounting location – closed cabinet or open wall cabinet. The cables are weighty and look a bit unkempt if mounted above eye level in an open cabinet. Also, account for the weight of the cables when deciding where to mount the PDU in the cabinet. I mounted mine at the bottom of my 9u open cabinet, as anything below would have been difficult to access. I have no complaints about the PDU, but for aesthetics, consider the install type; a closed cabinet is better for higher installations.

Great price, seems okay for use with UPS
When you select the 19-outlet version out of the list of options, the mouseover text says "surge protected" which worried me, because you aren't supposed to use surge protectors on either end of a UPS. But then there's the table showing the difference between the variants, and the 19-outlet model has an 'X' under surge protection, rather than the check mark that the others have, suggesting it does NOT have surge protection. Another reviewer showed images of the included instruction leaflet, which they claim shows evidence of it being surge protected. But what it actually says in the specs there is "overload protection", which is different. Overload protection basically means it has a circuit breaker that protects against current overload. Surge protection is for handling voltage spikes. So, short story long, this device (the 19-outlet version) has power conditioning and overload protection, both of which are safe for use with a UPS. If you choose a different model that also offers surge protection, you should NOT use it with a UPS. Okay, with that cleared up, what else... well, the price is great, and currently you can even shave off a couple more dollars if you buy it as a bundle with a Tecmojo rack (which I did). Having all of the plugs sticking out is kind of annoying, I have to admit. In retrospect (especially since it's very unlikely that I'll ever use all of them) it would have been better for me to maybe get one that just has the outlets in the back, and run short extenders for the outlets that I put wall warts on. But it's not worth returning and shopping for a new one, so I'll just keep it. It's a bit heavy and I was a little concerned about whether the weight will cause long-term problems since it only attaches to the front. It does not come with rails to attach to the back, and the plethora of thick power cables hanging squid-like behind it added additional weight. So I ended up buying a couple of new shelves and repurposing one of my existing ones to work as a "tentacle holder". I attached it to the back of the rack at the same level as the PDU, and it reaches far enough to take all of the power cable weight off the PDU, and as a bonus, the shelf comes with rails. Those rails can then act as double duty reinforcing the shelf AND adding support to the PDU itself.

What took so long for this come around
Just amazing! I'm sure somebody will come along and tell me that this has been around for ages. I've been working in IT for the past 27 years and just now do I finally see a power strip, rackmount no-less, that has any number of the short power cord extensions. It's a new day in IT and after many years we've come a long way and I'm so happy to reach this point and see this...lol Thanks Tecmojo, for stepping up and coming out with this much-needed solution to a problem that has plagued us for too many years. I don't really think I need to say it, but I will anyway. Yes, it's a no-brainer and I highly recommend this product.
