This one is thicker and sturdier than those I've had in the past and my chair wheels don't sink into it on the medium pile carpet in my office. After just a few days of use I can tell it's MUCH better and my chair glides of it like I was on a hard surface floor. Even though it cost a bit more than many chair mats, I'm very pleased with this one.

Great, sharp on the bottom, piece of plastic. We use this one by our backdoor to protect our new carpet. Took a while to lay flat. We sat it out in the hot sun for a bit before using. We didn't notice any off putting smell. Highly recommend it!

The Large Chair Mat for Carpet works well in our office and helps protect the carpet. The chair glides smoothly most of the time, though the wheels can occasionally create small dents that the chair rolls back into. Overall, it still does its job and is a good floor protector.

The price was fairly high, which would have been overlooked if it was a good material.Pros:•It is the size that I ordered•It has sharp tack points on the bottom and doesn’t move aroundCons:•The material that this floor mat is made of is not good, making it very malleable•The mat is very wavy and not consistently straight•Even after warming it up as per instructions and weighing down the corners, it has yet to lie even remotely flat.•As mentioned above, it is malleable, meaning that it leaves wheel dents in the mat that essentially force your chair into divots, making it difficult to move around, completely defeating the point of the purchase.It really showcases the poor construction and quality of the floor mat and it’s a hugely disappointing experience. I will be returning it promptly for a more solidly constructed product.

In my star ranking, I've left room for applications that I can't comprehend. This product is too thin for almost any application a normal person would need it for. Unwrapping requires bricks and or a heat gun to get the rolled plastic to lay flat. Buyer beware, returning this item may be impractical. It will be hard to roll up once you've tried it out. Marketed as "Chair mat", but probably only good as "Standing mat"Priced in line with office retail locations for similar grade product, but unless you're using this for a standing work station I can't imagine how this product would be practical. The wheel or chair leg dents will quickly break down this product. Spend $50 more to buy a thicker mat.

Purchased six months ago, It's a great product!Yes, our flooring is made of luxury vinyl planks, and they can get scarred up from the wheels of an office chair.When I noticed that the wearing had begun, I purchased this mat. At first, keeping it from rolling back up out of the box was hard, but that's understandable. I held it in place with a few kitchen chairs until it lay flat.I have had no problems with this mat. It doesn't move or slide; it stays in place, and my floors no longer suffer.

This mat lasted less than 2 years before cracking between the spikes and becoming difficult to roll on. Need to replace.

I know people have struggled to unroll this. But this may help someone.1.Take it out of the box & remove ties.2. Place it in full sun (outside if possible). Let set for an hour.3. Get at least 3 heavy items (brick). Try to unroll it bristles up as far as you can.4. Let heat up more going back in an hour; repeat process.5. When it's completely enroll; flip it over then put heavy item on the corners again.6. Let heat up in the sun again. Try to flatten; it won't be perfect but you can now use it under your chair.

This mat is very difficult to unroll even by two people. Pricks on the bottom side are very hard and sharp: even with garden gloves I got a few deep scratches.

It took some time to straighten out after unpacking it, but once that was done it is perfect. Good buy, Does the job. Thanks

Produit/tapis très surprenant. Il est arrivé très froid et très rigide. Il faut extraire doucement puis bien lire la notice. Pour pouvoir l'installer j'ai mis le tapis dans 20 cm d'eau très chaude dans ma baignoire (10 min) ce qui m'a permis de le dérouler. Je l'ai ensuite sèché avec une serviette de toilette avant de l'étaler au sol et de placer des gros livres pour finir la mise en forme. Maintenant, cela semble top ...

Mat comes rolled up and is extremely difficult to unroll. I put it in the shower for a while to warm it up but it was still difficult to unroll and still hasn't flattened out. Otherwise it works as it should.

Great, doesnt affect the ability of the chair to glide, protects the floor and easy to clean, top buy
