Automatic Door Closer, Zinc Alloy Safety Spring Door Closer Adjustable 30 kg Closing Door Hinge (Black)

I ordered 2 in order to shut some doors and make sure we kept our German Shepherd off of our new carpet. They took 3 minutes to install once I figured them out. They fully shut one of the doors but not quite the other (unless the AC is running). It definitely pulls it to and disuades the dog. I didn't even bother with the "protective plate." The wheels roll smoothly and don't seem to be wearing on the door but it's a 5 minute job to touch up the paint if ever needed. The directions are definitely good for a laugh (but that's about it).

This door closer is just what I needed. The installation was incredibly simple and fast; it comes with everything you need, both screws and a very strong adhesive, which makes the process much easier. Once installed, it works perfectly. The closing is smooth but firm, and the best part is that the tension is adjustable, so I was able to set it so the door closes completely without slamming. The materials feel sturdy and of good quality. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a practical and reliable solution to keep doors closed. Excellent purchase!

Inexpensive. Solidly built. Easy to install. Works well. But with one flaw - the strike plate (or slider plate or whatever you want to call it) is way too short. No matter where you put it the little roller thingy is going to rub against your door for a couple of inches. See door open and door closed images. Otherwise a pretty good value.

This is a nice, affordable, unobtrusive door closer. It works for what I want perfectly, but may not be strong enough to latch some doors. I actually needed something that would close but not latch the door to keep heat in but still let the cats through.

This was perfect for keeping my bedroom door shut. We moved into a new apartment that made my bedroom visible from the front door of the apartment with visibility into building hallway! This handy spring made sure the door automatically closes. The door slam is a bit fast, strong, and loud. We haven’t found a catch mechanism to slow down the swing of the door. All in all- it is Serving its purpose well!

This is actually quite perfect. My spouse would come into my office throughout the day to ask me something and had a habbit of leaving the door wide open, which is a problem in the summertime when im running ac. I also wanted something that wouldn't slam the door all the way closed or make it too hard to open the door since we have a dog who wants to come in and out. This was perfect. This screws in nicely (i used better screws than the ones that came with it which stripped) and the first position had the right amount of light tension for my needs. I could use stronger positions if iwanted the door to close all the way (i just want my door to close most of the way so the ac makes the room cold and the dog can still nudge open the door to escape). I placed it close to the hinge which keeps the roller movement short enough to use on the included plate. If you place if further away from the hinge/rotation area the roller will travel further. I haven't actually put the plate on, the rubber rollers are soft enough. I like that you can place this at any height along the door. The product photo is slightly inaccurate since there is no longer a nut included, but i find it is not needed (tension prevents it from rotating) and the nut is kind of ugly. Finally an extra "feature" is you can unscrew the roller bar when you don't want your door to automatically close. The price is right, it does exactly what i need it to do and it installed easily.

This Automatic Door Closer is an okay product overall. It works, but it has some limitations that are worth noting depending on your needs. Spring Strength: The spring is fairly strong, but there’s no real way to adjust the strength itself—only the speed of the close. This limits how much control you have over how forcefully the door shuts. Noise Level: It’s not overly loud, but since you can’t fine-tune the closing force, it can still shut a bit harder than expected depending on the setup. Security: Because of the limited adjustability, it’s better suited for lighter-duty applications. I’d say it works best on something like a screen door without a latch rather than a main entry door. Size: The size is reasonable and compact. It doesn’t stand out too much once installed. Weight: The weight is also fine—not too heavy, not too light—making it easy to handle during installation. Functionality: It does function as a basic spring-loaded door closer, but the single adjustment option makes it less versatile than expected. Overall, it gets the job done for lighter doors, but it’s not ideal if you need more control or stronger, more secure closing performance. I’d call it an average product.

This is the second door closer I ordered. The first one worked out great so I ordered the second for another door. Easy to install and it works great. Returns door to closed position when left open. Great product.

Best door closer ever. Very quiet. Can close the door all the way or adjust to stay open, which i do, just enough to let the cats through.

Not very reliable and hard duty it will work for sometime and then it suddenly stops because the springs will weaken and it won’t close the doors anymore
