Beautiful backpack
Just received my new Troubadour backpack. The colour and the look of it is beautiful (I got the blue one). It's very comfortable and fits my laptop and other equipment really well. It has lots of inside pockets and and a pocket for carrying a bottle. I have back problems so the padding is great. and I also love how it will slide onto a rolling suitcase when I travel. There is a handy handle at the top so can be carried. It's a top quality bag and is worth the price. It has a 5 year warranty and is made from recycled materials. And most importantly it is waterproof.

A very cool alternative to the usual.
Received my Troubadour Apex promptly and am impressed with the appearance and utility. I have used Wenger packs for the last 15 years or so, which have generally served me well. However, as the last one reached the end of its life I was looking for an alternative that offered more style and was also more sustainable/well-founded ethically. A friend recommended Troubadour so I checked them out. I like the fact the company has B-corp status and appreciate the five-year guarantee. The pack is stylish and has many well-considered touches: I love the closing zip covers, which will keep moisture and dirt out and the water bottle gusset compartments. They are expandable and so don’t spoil the lines of the pack and are formed from the same fabric as the main body so don’t appear as ‘add-ons’. My last pack had no bottle pouches, so these are great. The design-aesthetic is impressive and the pack is comfortable to wear. The inside compartments are well-designed and numerous. Yes, this bag is more expensive but it is an altogether more stylish and pleasing object to own. The guarantee offered and the neat brand touches add to the feeling of care and attention that really appeals to me as a consumer. I am very pleased with the purchase and am glad I switched away from the larger more established brand I had been using until now. I expect this pack to last and so have every confidence that the extra outlay initially will pay dividends both financially and in terms of removing the need to buy another bag in 2-3 years’ time. Highly recommended.

Great backpack would 100% recommend
There are backpacks, and there are backpacks. This Apex 3.0 is definitely one of a different kind. Fed up with my old baggy rucksack, it was time to get a replacement and man was I in for a treat! A case of love at first sight. This Troubadour model is so stylish (I chose navy blue) that it wouldn't be out of place if you took it somewhere posh for dinner after work with your laptop snuggly fitting into the inner compartment. There are enough pockets for pens and purses (but crucially also not too many) and it's so light (1kg) and comfortable to carry, with padded straps. It makes me happy knowing it's been made from recycled plastic bottles. It's completely waterproof and comes with a five year guarantee. Love it and can't wait to take it away on its first overnight trip!

Apex 3.0 Backpack
This bag is strong and is amazing quality. It is also ideal for travelling as it's the perfect size for airplanes. It is versatile because of the luggage sleeve, efficient for attaching to a suitcase. The inside compartments are very handy for all your items as well as the shoulder-strap compartment for easy access. It is also very comfortable to wear because of the padding on the straps, and it is waterproof which is amazing. Definitely recommend.

Perfect compact bag that’s also sustainable!
Delighted with my bag- main criteria was sustainability (this is from a. Corp company, and bag made of recycled materials) but also wanted a stylish clean look and practical features. And it delivers on all fronts! Fits all my stuff and has lots of little compartments so easy to find and don’t have to rummage round. Very comfy to wear. Good little features like phone pocket in the strap.

Smart and practical
This rucksack looks great and is smart enough to use for work. Ample pockets/ compartments. Very comfortable padded straps. Obviously high quality and worth every penny. I got it in green. I’m expecting lots of queries regarding where it came from.

Stylish, capacious, but w some design flaws
The padding against one's back is also up to the required standard. The design flaws that I encountered are the following: a)the mobile phone pocket within the shoulder strap is unusable: once the item is placed on one's back the pocket (and the phone in it) ends up pressed tight high above one's shoulder, which means one needs to take the back pack off in order to be able to unzip the pocket. If the pocket gets moved further down the strap, this could well rectify that flaw. b)it should be possible to place safely a back pack on the ground, so the item merits a leather(-ish) cover on the bottom, similar to the one on the top, especially given Troubadour's price tag.

Perfect commuter bag
The bag is compact and holds its shape well. It is spacious inside and has plenty of room to fit everything you need in it for your work day and morning commute. The internal pockets are particularly useful for organising smaller items. The bag can stand up on its own, doesn’t fall over, which is a really nice feature too. It’s made with very good quality material all round and feels like it’ll last for a long time. I would highly recommend this bag, and I love the green colour too.

Many individuals are likely to inquire about the origin of your bag, given its practical and functional design. It is a well-designed bag with ample room for daily essentials, yet it maintains a slim profile.

I was tired of rocking the college kid looking backpack with nice luggage alongside. This was more expensive than what I was planning but after looking at some higher in brands this came in at a more budget friendly option. I read all the reviews and saw that this one might have some quirks to it. But all the quirks seem to fit my needs perfectly. It holds my 16-in laptop just fine has a spot for the tablet, and fits just about anything else I would need for my day-to-day work trips. I'm looking forward to taking it on my European vacation later but I do know this is a tad smaller than some of the other bigger travel backpacks. Even though it is a tad bit smaller than some of the others the 23 l bag should be just fine and seems to do well for what I'm needing it for.

Compré esta mochila para salir de viaje, me ha funcionado muchísimo porque es impermeable, tiene muchísimos compartimentos y algunos de ellos son secretos, muy buena calidad de materiales y el diseño me encantó!

This is my first stylish backpack in my adult life. In the past, I considered function over fashion which is boring yet corporate friendly. As an entrepreneur, I was looking for an upgrade that could be fashionable, yet practical for a variety of working locations. This backpack is sturdy. It can stand up with very little or nothing inside of it due to the firmer exterior. The zippers, stitching, padding, handle and straps are well constructed. The overall backpack would make a great personal item while traveling. It is comfortable and not bulky. Overall, my Dell XPS15 and mobile accessories fit nicely with my planner and calendar with room to spare. I love all the pockets and slots to stay organized. My Owala Free Sip Sway fits nicely in the side pocket with no issues. For a higher end backpack, it appears to be worth the investment. I cannot wait to see how this bag holds up a digital nomad!

I got both the Apex 3.0 and the Pioneer 3.0 to compare in person. I ended up going with the Pioneer, which I've give 4.5 stars, compared with the 4.0 starts for the Apex. What I was looking for: I wanted to consolidate two bags; my work briefcase and my gym bag. The Apex could not accomplish that, the Pioneer could. However, I wish there was a way to merge features from both into one bag. The Apex: Likes: - Lots of Colourways (Obsidian Green is beautiful, refined, sophisticated, but still unique and fun) - High quality details and materials: Zipper pulls; ruberized waterproof zippers, leather accents, stitching, etc. all top quality. The most refined backpack at this pricepoint available - Dedicated laptop/tech compartment. I cannot stress enough how nice of a feature this is. Laptop/tablets have their own well-padded compartment. - Straps are comfortable, addjustable (with a high-quality fabric pullstrap) - Horizontal front pocket. (better, when compared to the vertical slash pocket on the P3.0) Dislikes: - No dedicated shoe compartment (such the Pioneer 3.0) - Size: even though it is technically larger in capactiy than the P3.0, I found it to be more difficult to fit the same amount of stuff in. I think the separate shoe pocket in the Pioneer made it easier to access and organize stuff - When the bag is full, the water bottle pockets at the side are a little insecure; I found my waterbottle didn't fit in snugly and was hard to slip in and out. Utlimately, as I said, this one is going back and I'm sticking with the P3.0 because it was easier to dig stuff out and fit more stuff in: Gym shoes, shorts, shirt, toilety bag, gym towel, plus all my work stuff - 17" laptop, folders, stationery organizers, notebook, etc.
