The best mask sheet. I love it.

This is a review of Abib’s Gummy Heartleaf (Soothing) sheet mask. I use a lot of masks and have an extensive skin routine as I am in my 40s with very sensitive skin. While most of my products work well with my skin, sometimes when I try a new product I get some facial redness and I feel as if my skin is irritated so that’s why I decided to order this product. MY OBSERVATIONS: 1. It comes as a 10-pack and they are individually wrapped. 2. Upon opening one of the packets, the scent is neutral with no strong odors. 3. The mask is pretty big. It is easy to apply and although there are some areas which do not get covered, it is ok because the packet still has a lot of product in it. I just used my fingers to cover the rest. 4. I left the sheet mask on after 20 minutes and they said to pat down any leftover mask product. Along with the rest of the product from the packet, I used and pat it on my face and neck. 5. It took another 10 minutes to fully absorb. It was not too sticky after that. 6. After a few hours, my skin feels healthier and relaxed. It seems to be moisturized very well. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I like this mask. I think it is cost-effective and worth its value because they put in a lot of product in each packet. The quality of the mask is very good as it does not tear easily. Plus, my skin feels really good.

Facial Masks especially from the K-beauty line up has positive effects on my skin. I came across this mask with an interesting name - “Abib Gummy Sheet Mask” and curiosity made me order it. The mask has a good size and fits snugly on my face. The word Gummy is funny since I believe it is used because the mask when applied really stick on my face. I love the generous amount of serum it contains - I was able to use some and spread in around my neck and upper body. The mask is non-irritating and non-allergenic. It is really soothing and very relaxing. Overall, this gummy facial mask is a fantastic addition to my skincare collection. Although it is a bit pricey at $2.20 per use, I plan to reserve it for my weekend self-care routine when I'm trying to relax and unwind.

These did nothing. They didn't calm or soothe my skin, nor did they infuse any moisture.

I absolutely love this mask, the material of the mask is thick, almost jelly-like, which helps it stay in place and cling perfectly to the contours of my face. After each use, my skin feels incredibly soothed, refreshed, and hydrated, especially when it’s irritated or breaking out. The Heartleaf extract is amazing for calming redness and reducing inflammation, and I’ve noticed my skin feels softer and looks clearer the next day. The essence is generous but not sticky, and it absorbs well after removing the mask. I also appreciate that you get 10 sheets in the pack, it’s a great value for the quality. Perfect for sensitive or acne-prone skin.

These sheet masks are absolutely packed with serum. So much so that even after removing it from the pouch, there's plenty left inside. And when I put the mask on my face, the excess serum pools around my mouth. The excess serum also makes the masks extremely slippery. I recommend using a silicone face mask on top to keep it in place, otherwise it slides down easily. While the hydration is impressive, the mask may cause irritation if your skin barrier is compromised. When I used it for the first time, the skin around my nose was already a bit irritated and the mask made it sting even more. Going forward, I wouldn’t use this again unless my skin is at its healthiest. Normally, I leave a sheet mask on for about 20 minutes, then remove it and gently pat the remaining serum into my skin until fully absorbed. However, with this sheet mask, even after 20 minutes, it’s still incredibly saturated with serum and my face is completely drenched as well. There’s so much excess liquid that I have to wipe most of it off so I can pat in a more manageable amount. And once I do that, my skin feels deeply moisturized and hydrated, and even the areas that were irritated at first feel noticeably better.
