It is as advertised, works well.

The threads on the lid have MANY long dangerous burs, the pressure relief device is installed cross thread (critical device for not exploding), and there is a deep pit on both the inside and outside at the same location causing minimal wall thickness (might even be a poorly filled in hole, not sure exactly, but definitely suspect for a crack). They also claim "one piece molding, no welding", just look inside and you can easily see the individual pieces (puzzle shape) that have been welded. Hopefully it's weld and not lead solder or something not food safe. Based on all the lies and issues, I wouldn't doubt it. Doesn't look like weld. This could kill someone if it exploded. Don't risk it! VERY DANGEROUS! PIECE OF GARBAGE!

After a couple tries. I made perfectly puffed brown rice. The suggested pressure readings that came with it worked perfectly. (It doesn't work well in a breeze outside.) It puffed twenty year old wheat berries too. It takes practice, but it works great. If you have raw grain , it can be ready to eat in fifteen minutes. It's portable. I love it and I plan on getting a larger one. It's a lot of fun. I haven't tried corn yet but the puffed brown rice is amazing. It's worth it for the rice alone.

Does not work anything like advertised. Novelty not worth the money. It takes forever and burns the popcorn.

1st - good luck find oil that don't make smoke, so i just used propane tank, much faster (may not be safe, i do not recomend it). Made good - i have no problems with quality. Do not expect having fully opened popcorn, for some reason it makes it as big round shape circles. Look at the attached picture. Lots of fun, big loud sound and huge steam cloud, kids loved it. Not for people whos hands growing out of their but, you can easily burn yourself and others throughout the hole process and even after. But over all fun and cool thing to have.

It was crazy-easy to myself. Even with the gloves. (Could just be me.) Makes a mess no matter how you work it. Smells like burned popcorn even if they don’t burn it. In the end you get puffed corn not popped corn. It’s more like cereal than popcorn.

Doesn't come with good instructions on how to insure that you get good unburned popcorn. Still trying to figure it out. Quality seems ok but not great.
