Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remaster (Nintendo Switch)

I loved this game on the N64 but it didn't have a huge audience back then. I was over the moon when they announced the remake on the switch. The combat is a combination of turn base and card fighter think MegaMan bn. This is a fantastic RPG that needs more attention. I don't talk about story details but it's an enjoyable one with stuff that works but have been done before. The issues it had with quality of life decisions in the N64 still remain to haunt the current remake but it's nothing that breaks the fun. I hope people buy this because Nintendo have a habit of discontinuing their games and they can get expensive. But this one up and let's hope they revive some more classics (custom robo).

I remember playing these years ago. I was pleasantly surprised when this game was announced and released for the Nintendo Switch. I ordered the game and it arrived quick and undamaged. I didn't play the game for quite a while, because I was building a backlog of games to play while deployed. However, I did in the end play and beat both games and found them just as fun as I remember them to be. I would say this RPG goes under the radar often when people discuss RPGs. I would recommend people to play this gem, especially for any avid RPG player.

I still have my GC copies of these games I enjoyed them so much. This was a pleasant surprise considering how much I use my switch. It plays great. My only gripe is the English voice overs have been removed. Not a problem for me, I thought they were corny any. It’s just an issue for my kids who are just getting old enough to play a game like this. They get turned off by having to read a ton of subs so a patch would be nice. It plays beautifully!

Came earlier than expected, I received a cartridge copy after I saw others received a digital code. Not sure why people are getting different things but I did get a physical copy and I’m happy!

Except remaster. Plays excellent on switch 2.

Je peux enfin jouer à baten laiton origins de la Nintendo gamecube (pas sorti en france de mémoire). Et rejouer au 1 : Gros coup de cœur de mon enfance. Je peux vous parler de son : -Système de jeux de combat au tour par tour avec des cartes, c’était assez atypique comme jeu. Très beau environnement. -Personnages avec de la personnalité et un beau retournement de situation. Merci pour ce bundle sur console récente!

Decent remaster and a great way to enjoy two Gamecube classics. Although removal of the English voice could be seen as a negative, the voice acting wasn't great and pales in comparison to the Japanese version.

They removed the English voice over. Really let down
