Great ski com system. doubles the pleasure of group skiing.
Disclaimer: We have returned the purchased set because we got it as a gift from our kids right after. We just got back from Vail CO ski trip, where we had a chance to use and test it thoroughly. My wife and I became addicted on the ability to communicate while skiing, I can't imagine us skiing without it, and am not sure how did we managed before. You just have to remember to mute the mic on ski lift to avoid hearing the echo. Full days of skiing 9am-4 pm battery remains between 50 and 75% the temps were on the warmer side, I'd think in cold it would be 50-25% so charge before you go skiing. Range... while we have no tested it on purpose, I'd imaging being on opposite sides of a mountain would not works, but while we were skiing together and even with me getting down to the bottom lift much faster than my wife we never lost communications, compare to POC helmet built in system it was night and day. Mounting, at first, when I handled helmet in hands, the cardo system feels loose being clipped to the helmet straps, when you ski you do not even know it is there, feels awesome. Controls are very v=well thought out, no problem using them with gloves on. Pricy ? Sure especially if you have a large family or group, but definitely worth it. I got a usb-c triple headed charging pigtail, to charge all simultaneously, to expedite and reduce manual operations in charging. Music quality , and ease of answering a phone call are great, but I am a big proponent of not doing wither when skiing. Integrates well with Zello app for cellular push to talk function, while not hands free (need to hold a button) it erases range limits and you can talk to someone in Australia while skiing.

Works well & does what it's supposed to.
First off, I was really interested in the Milo, but they weren't shipping when I needed them to (I don't know if they're even shipping yet 4/2023). I decided to go with the Cardo because; the price is the same, they're ready to ship, & Cardo has a good history of similar products in the motorcycle world. I'm glad I went this way. The system works as advertised. You can talk hands free across some pretty good distance. I had no issue synching up 5 units together & all of us talking to one another. I've used this skiing & it lasts all day out on the hill. When I power it down it says that there is still 50% battery. Once the units are all paired together, they will re-pair when powered up next to each other the next day. The unit has controls on it that are easy to access & manipulate with ski gloves on, there's also voice command but I didn't really use it that much. But once you learn what buttons do what command, it's pretty intuitive. This has no built in speaker, so you need to use the provided speaker/mic. They really only fit in the ear pads of a helmet, so you'll need to have that. They do provide stick on options but I don't know where you might mount them on a helmet. Maybe if you have an old pair of headband style headphones, you could rig it up into that. Maybe Cardo will make something. The alternative is to use the plug in jack, where you can plug in a pair of corded headphones with a mic so that you get the full function. IT DOES NOT WORK WITH CORDED HEADPHONES WITH A VOLUME UP/DOWN BUTTON!!! So no apple headphones. I picked up a pair of in ear Sony headphones that work with it. You typically mount it on the side chin straps of the helmet, but a sticky tab is provided for a full face helmet. The clip would work on a backpack strap as well if you don't wear a helmet. To get the most out of it; play music, answer phone calls, adjust the volume levels, etc., you need to pair it with your phone & the app. If you have more than one, I'd suggest pairing & updating with each persons phone so that you don't end up having issues figuring out which unit is paired with your own phone. Once paired, it's really great to listen to music in the background of the entire conversation. Your own music only plays for your unit, not everyone else's. Limits: While skiing, having a hill or mountain blocking caused the units to cut in & out at about a 1/2 mile. If there was someone with another unit between, it helped add strength & distance to the connection. There were no issues with trees, it was really just limited by piles of earth. One annoying thing is the length of the announcement when 'group connection is lost'. If you're apart from your group, but just on the edge of it, you'll jump in & out of the connection, & you'll keep getting announcements. I also wish it worked with apple headphones. One last thing is the delay. It's not an issue if you're away from each other, but riding up the chairlift you hear yourself talk back to you because you get picked up by other mics & you hear the person twice (like an echo) because you hear their voice direct, then the transmitted voice. Not a big issue, easy to just mute your mic or mute the conversation, but something you might not expect. I'm seeing another unit advertised at a much cheaper price point, but it's still in the kickstarter phase so who knows if that gets off the ground. The cardo is ready to ship & it works. I really like using it & it's going to be Christmas/birthday gifts for the rest of the family that skis & boards. I highly recommend these, but your milage may vary depending on the company you keep.

Great!
So far, I’m loving these things. Being able to talk to people at a normal voice level while skiing is probably the best thing since sliced bread. The microphones work great, the audio is immaculate, and I love how you can customize your own audio mix in their app - as I was, at first, worried that my music would be too loud to hear the people I was talking to. Additionally, the setup and configuration was pretty easy and took like 10 minutes. There are two things to note with this, however. If you are skiing, you should probably turn off whatever noise canceling options there are in the audio settings, as it tends to block out the voice of the person you’re communicating with. Also, just note that the range is not very far at all, especially with trees present. So far, this has only been an issue once for me, but still worth noting for sure.

Amazing for skiing with others
I have looked at these for two seasons now. I finally gave in and ordered two. One for myself and one for my husband. This made it SO much easier to talk to each other while skiing, and not needing to yell constantly. We both had wildhorn speakers before this, for music, and the headphones in this have been of equal quality. I especially liked being able to communicate easily, as we take 3 kids (8, 6, 6) skiing, so we can easily tell the other person if we are breaking off to go with a kid some where or letting the other person know that someone has fallen and we are stopping. It's definitely been worth the price!! We plan to get more next season, one for each of the kids so we can easily talk to them too. The battery doesn't last nearly as long as I would like. It has to be charged before each use. But it lasts all day long.

Soddisfattissima dell’acquisto.

By far the best ski equipment I have ever bought. I purchased duo pack and we used them at day & night skiing. Talking hands free all the way, and having easy access to mute audio/mic controls are super convenient. My partner's helmet had pockets for the earpieces which made it super easy to install. My helmet didn't have the pockets, but the package comes with several types of female velcros (rounded, and H shaped), and I used super glue to stick velcros on each side of my helmet's inner to attach ear pieces. Both earpieces have made side of the velcro so it becomes very easy to attach them. Box also comes with several easy mount attachments. Great product! Bonus: Cardo sticker looked quite cool on the helmet :)

If you ski/snowboard with your partner regularly, you’ll love these. My wife and I got these and just used the on our first ski trip last month. We were able to keep in touch on the slopes which was great for choosing directions and sharing info/warnings about others who were coming too close to each other. The range was really good (we reckoned c.300 metres) and the batteries lasted us two days on a single charge. We just love them and can’t imagine hitting the slopes without them now.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for son and daughter-in-law. They've used them each time they've gone skiing and absolutely love the ease of communication now.
