You will be happy to have this heating pad. It also automatically turns off at the desired time. **Q: Why does the controller start to continually flash after it heats up?** A: Mine started doing that and cutting off, so I sent it back and they sent a new one, so far it's working well and hasn't started doing it. We were thinking it might be a short in the control handpiece, but we'll see. I really needed it so I went to Aldis and bought one they had on sale, I'm keeping it for a backup just in case the new one they sent me turns out to be a dud 🤷🏾‍♀️ **Q: How many watts does this heating pad use?** A: 75 watts. My last one was 180 watts. This is essentially useless for therapeutic purposes.
