This one! Get this one!
I tried 2 other cheaper screen protectors and they all had problems with the edges sticking. I came across this screen protector and decided to try it. The installation process wasn't too bad, you can find tutorials online to help you with each step. This thing fits like a dream! No bubbles, no lifting, no problems. The clarity is crystal clear as if there was nothing on your screen and the fingerprint reader works perfect. It's case friendly and I can confirm it works with the Otterbox symmetry case and the Speck presidio grip case. The box it came it said it was the Pixel 7 pro, I have no idea why but the actual unit inside the package said Pixel 8. Save yourself the time, money and effort and skip the cheaper screen protectors and just get this one.

Perfect fit for pixel 8! But wrong name on the box.
I bought a White Stone screen protector for my Pixel 8 and I'm happy that I did. This one is the perfect fit! Screen is covered almost completely, and no bobles on the sides. Although this glass is a little pricey and the installation process is a bit harder than with usual screen protectors. I tried a few cheaper options before ordering White Stone, but they didn't fit. Also when I received my order I thought that they made a mistake and sent me a wrong screen protector, because the title on the box was for Pixel 7 Pro. But when I opened it, I saw that the actual kit is for Pixel 8. Good product, I hope it will last 😁

Complicated to put on, but works well once you get it
This works perfectly IF you follow the instructions to the letter. It is more complicated than the simple stick on screen protectors, but gives you a much cleaner screen. I had one shatter after a drop and hitting, but the screen underneath was perfectly protected. Make sure you use the drop pin to place the screen and that you tilt it as instructed to make sure the resin goes into the middle of the screen or you will have bubbles.

Absolutely terrible application tool
Looks like good glass, good adhesive, and a good UV curing tool. But the plastic frame and the pads make it all useless because you'll be lucky to apply it properly and even be able to use it. Let me preface my experience with the fact that I've used numerous of these liquid adhesive screen protectors from varying brands of varying quality (mostly unknown Chinese companies). So it should really mean something when you can't compete with any of that. The piece that drops the glass onto your screen is a flat piece of plastic, not a wedge. So it doesn't slowly let it down. It just props the top part up and drops it when you pull it. You could achieve the same thing with your fingers. It's pointless and only serves to emulate the dropping tool of actually decent screen protectors. Both times I tried to apply the protector (with the 2 provided) it introduced bubbles to the adhesive because it just smacks the glass against the screen when it drops, rather than slowly letting it down with a wedge. And when you do pull the plastic tab, it won't fall completely on your device because the pads will obstruct the way. I double checked the second time that they wouldn't be in the way, but the glass still got caught on something. And when I finally got the glass to fall properly, it smashed glue out to the pads and they absorbed a ton of adhesive. Enough to make it impossible to apply because there wasn't enough adhesive to cover the phone anymore. Because they sit on top..... not to the sides of the phone. They're flat and hang over the frame a bit on top of your phone. All the other application frames I've used has the pads go into the sides and provide a bit of pressure/cushion to hold the phone and absorb any adhesive that runs down the side of the phone. The fact that these ones go on top and can block the way of the glass falling (from it's terrible "dropping" tool) make it extremely hard to get things right. Too many finicky things. Not worth the gamble. All of this led to an extremely frustrating experience. Really let down. Because I've heard of Whitestone before. The fact that they do it worse than all of these unknown Chinese brands is really sad. Didn't get to use a single protector because the tools suck so much. $23 down the drain. Going to go back to the gross stick-and-go kind of screen protectors until one of those (apparently good) Chinese brands makes a liquid adhesive screen protector for the Pixel 8 because this kit is NOT it. Not going to spend any more money on an inevitably frustrating application experience because of inherently flawed tools. Just going to wait for brands that apparently know what they're doing. Would have hoped the brand I'd heard of before would know what they're doing, but apparently not. Very frustrated.

The UV lamp needs to improved
I used this product for my pixel 8. it worked well. I had no need to re-register my fingerprint on the phone. The pack has items for installing twice so I kept the second screen protector and gel. I am happy with it. I experienced only 2 issues during installation. the UV lamp was difficult to turn on. I had to press the button with a lot of pressure for about 5 seconds (about 7 times) before the lamp turned on. Also, the instructions on the paper in the pack were insufficient, I had to use the tutorial on youtube. The captions on the youtube tutorial were difficult to see. The words often blended into the background.

Very relieved to say this screen protector worked perfectly on my first attempt at attaching it. It's an intimidating process and I'm not sure what some of the reviewers have been doing wrong on here but this product definitely worked perfectly for me. As I'm sure everyone who's ended up on this page is aware, every screen protector on the market for the Pixel 8 fails to cover the curved edges of the screen and leaves a horrible air bubble on the edges that makes an already relatively small screen look even smaller. Happy to say this product solves this issue and attaches so neatly and tightly to the screen that you can't even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. My only tips are: 1. Give the video and manual a good study, I must have spent a good 30 minutes watching and re-reading the manual before attempting the installation process. When you scan the QR code to watch the instruction video, the video is designed for the Pixel 6 (or possibly 7) which was a bit disappointing but the process seems to be exactly the same for the 6, 7 & 8. 2. Make sure your surface is very level, my desk it seems is a tiny bit slanted to the right as the glue started running off to the right hand side of the phone once I poured it onto the screen - luckily I was able to tilt the phone a bit to the left and make the glue run back to the centre just in time. 3. When it came to pulling out the pin to drop the screen protector onto my screen all the glue started pooling towards the bottom half of the phone screen. It took me a good few seconds to realise the screen protector hadn't dropped all the way onto the top half of the screen so I had to nudge it down onto the screen with my finger. Was a very nervous moment but once I nudged it the glue started spreading out across the screen perfectly. 4. I went a bit overkill on the UV lamp drying time to ensure it was solidly connected, an extra minute or 2 on each section just to be sure. I've seen some reviewers complaining that the protector popped off once they put the phone inside their protective case, I'm using a fairly basic armoured £10 protector and I had no problems getting it into the case without damaging the protector, just be careful and gentle.

Best screen protector for Pixel 8 at this time. Actually adheres to the phone and no bubbles or edge problem. Yeah the install is a process but well worth it

Probably works great but after 3 application attempts to get the adhesive to spread throughout the whole screen surface I gave up and binned the lot. Will buy a cheaper alternative that doesn't require luck to install properly. Or 2 instruction books and a YouTube tutorial. Alternatives probably won't protect as well, but I'm sure it'll do the job and I won't have to pour adhesive on my phone screen and hope for a good spread.
