Is this the right filter system?** A: I don't know. I have a 2003 gmc2500hd. The one with the injectors designed for fuel before the new regulations. Thus... injector problems. They needed to be replaced often at great expense. The last timeI had them replaced the shop knew exactly what they were doing, ( rare indeed) They told me to extend injector life it was necessary to remove air from the combustion, air in the fuel causes the injectors to burn out. So far everything is fine... as a bonus I get slightly better fuel mileage and the engine has never run as smoothly as it does now. I bought it ok not June and it's just started leaking. When I received the order, it was (2)fs-3003's, instead of (1) ff-3003 & (1) fs1001. I had to reordered (1) fs-1001 to have a combo and will have to order another one the next time I change oil.
