Great alternative! Make sure you have clearance!
Great alternative to the RCBS plate. Would have been perfect for my setup but I didn't have enough clearance for the arm on my press. Also a great plate if you need to mount a bench primer or powder measurer.

Chinese pot metal crap
Complete China junk. I purchased this thinking it was RCBS product but what i actually bought was Chinese pot metal crap. I had to drill new holes in it as some of them didn't line up with my equipment. The only reason I gave any stars is that I can use it. Make sure you know what you are buying and I wouldn't recommend anything but RCBS when it comes to base plate.

So so.
It is an OK plate. It functions as a press mounting plate but leaves me wanting something better. It seems to be a fairly accurate copy of the RCBS #3 mounting plate. The metal is seems rigid but can also be drilled out almost too easily as it is not a hard metal. I drilled out the 4 mounting screw holes to 5/16" and then drilled countersunks and used socket head screws. In hind sight, I should have drilled the FR right screw as a typical countersunk screw head hole. Using this plate in its original state would have required self tapping wood screws to fasten it to my bench. Any press used for full length resizing or bullet pulling would eventually pull these screws out of your bench. The threaded holes are very straight but the threads are rough. I recommend running the included screws in and out of these holes before mounting a press or accessory. Eventually, I will fabricate a 12 x 6" mounting plate with 3/4" wood and 1/4" auminum.

No quality machining - junk
The machining on this precision plate is not very good. Two of the larger bolt holes do not accept bolts readily and I am afraid of stripping them out over the longer term. I am returning this and buying the true RCBS plate with lifetime warranty. Not worth the few dollars savings. More cheap junk from China - no more for me!
