Perfect for travel
Only slightly off location wise but otherwise great to have especially when traveling. Easy to carry around on person as well as in bags. Works immediately out of box once you pull the tab. I've had it for several months and the battery life is solid. Easily connects to Samsung device with a neat ability to make it sound out a chime. Tracks routes as well as location.

They work just as promised, and great price!
Great tags and work as promised! Very easy to set up. All I had to do was pull the blue tab out, a pairing request popped up on my phone and opened smartthings. It also notified of an update. You can change the ringtone and volume in the app as well. Its pretty loud, 105 db, which is about the decibels as many car alarms. However, its a tiny speaker, so don't expect it to sound as loud as a car alarm! As far as quality, of course, they're Samsung! Very durable and small enough to hide it in a purse, or even a wallet. If you're using for keys you won't need an additional key ring, it pretty much has one built into it. And its not bad looking either. You can get various protective covers for them as well. I highly recommend, especially at the current price reduction! Please know your tech products... I'm seeing bad reviews (not just for this item, but many) based on finding the tags when their phone isn't close enough to the tags. The location does not update until you are within the tags bluetooth range OR until another Samsung device grabs its location (meaning any other Samsung device belonging to anyone is near by, it automatically pings its location and then you immediately get the update). Furthermore, the reviews saying they went [x amount of feet (like 300) in the wrong direction] and its not picking up the tag, if you're retracing your footsteps for a lost item, you'll find it, so why would you go somewhere you were not to begin with? Illogical reasoning and illogical testing (also, what barriers could have been obstructing the signal, etc). And if an item was stolen, your hidden tag WILL ping once the signal is grabbed. Please stop giving bad reviews because you didn't research what you purchased and have no idea how it actually works. S/n: there are apps made by android developers that may bypass both the restriction to use these tags with other android phones, and the ability to find with locators other than via smartthings. However, I wouldn't base buying an item like this off of using a 3rd party app (especially if little is known about the app), and can also be removed at any moment.

Major improvement from the orginal Samsung Smart Tag tag
I replaced my 5 year old orginal Samsung smart tag. The tag is slimmer than the original and sits against your keys nice and flat. The pairing was simple and there is no lag time with clicking the button and the tag finding my phone. Also, when you use Samsung Smart Things Find it connects instantly and finds your tag. It is a major upgrade to the original. I don't know about the improved battery life because I haven't used it long enough. The only downside that I have found is the battery isn't as easy to replace, you either need a paper clip or the tool to stick into the small almost hard to find hole in the keyring part of the tag. Overall I'm very happy with the smart tag.

Much better tracking than the Pebblebee tracker! But a new version is needed!
I have a few of these and also a Pebblebee tracker. These are really easy to connect to and set up with a Samsung device. The connect very well with Samsung Find, but they do not work with Googles "Find My" network, instead these are completely locked to Samsung's ecosystem.. I own both a Pixel and Samsung, so this is definitely a flaw. Apparently there is a workaround from a project on Github called "uTag" which is "an Android app and mod for Samsung SmartThings which allows the use of Samsung SmartTags on non-Samsung Android devices running Android 11 or above. No root needed". I don't know if I can link the project on here, but it should pop up with a quick Google search When compared to my Pebblebee tracker, the SmartTag is so much more accurate. The SmartTag2 came out in October 2023, it's now May 2026 nearly 3 years later and there still isn't a new version. Apple just released the 2nd Gen Airtag which has upgrades like "50% greater Precision Finding range, a 50% louder speaker, and an upgraded Bluetooth chip for better tracking." Samsung needs to come out with a 3rd Generation of this with updated BT 6.0 for better accuracy. And the ability to add to Android's Find My Device network!!

Never Lose Your Keys Again
There's nothing more frustrating than spending twenty minutes searching for your keys when you're already running late. This SmartTag2 has completely eliminated that problem for me. It's a simple device that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it really well. The tracking accuracy is impressive. When you use the app to find your tagged item, it gives you directions and shows how far away you are. As you get closer, the signal gets stronger, and you can trigger the SmartTag to make a sound. The sound is loud enough to hear even if your keys are buried in a couch cushion or under some papers. The whole process of locating something takes seconds instead of minutes. Setup was incredibly easy. You just open the SmartTag in the app, press the button, and it pairs with your phone automatically. The whole process takes maybe thirty seconds. Once it's connected, it shows up in your SmartThings app alongside any other Samsung devices you have. The interface is clean and intuitive – you can see all your tags at once and tap any of them to start tracking. Battery life is excellent. These run on standard replaceable batteries that last for months. When the battery gets low, the app notifies you, so you're never caught off guard. Being able to replace the battery yourself rather than having to buy a whole new tracker is both economical and environmentally friendly. The battery compartment is easy to access, and swapping in a new battery takes just a moment. The build quality feels solid. It's compact and lightweight, but it doesn't feel fragile or cheap. The button on the front has a good tactile response, and the whole unit feels like it can handle being on a keychain and getting jostled around daily. It's got some weather resistance too, so you don't have to worry about it getting caught in the rain. The range on the Bluetooth connection is better than I expected. You can locate items from a decent distance away, and the connection stays stable. If you do go out of range, the app shows you the last known location on a map, which is incredibly helpful if you left something at a friend's house or in your car. One of the coolest features is the lost mode. If you can't find your item and you're not near it, you can mark it as lost in the app. Then, if any other Samsung device comes near your SmartTag, you'll get an anonymous notification with its location. Given how many Samsung phones are out there, this network effect makes it much more likely you'll recover lost items. You can also use the SmartTag to find your phone. Just double-press the button on the tag, and your phone will ring even if it's on silent. This has saved me countless times when I've misplaced my phone somewhere in the house. It's a simple feature, but it works perfectly and gets used all the time. The attachment options are practical. It's got a hole for a keyring that's sized right – not so big that it looks awkward, but large enough to fit standard keyrings and attachments easily. The tag sits flat on a keychain without adding a lot of bulk. You barely notice it's there until you need it. Integration with Samsung's ecosystem is seamless. If you've already got Samsung devices, this just works with everything you have. The SmartThings app becomes your central hub for finding all your stuff. You can even set up automation with other smart home devices if you want to get creative. The precision finding works really well when you're close to your item. The app switches to a more detailed view that shows you the direction and distance, helping you zero in on exactly where something is. It's like a metal detector for your keys, and it makes finding things quick and frustration-free. For the price, this is an outstanding value. You're getting reliable tracking technology that actually works consistently. When you consider how much time it saves and how much peace of mind it provides, it's easily worth the investment. Losing important items is stressful, and this completely eliminates that stress. If you're someone who frequently misplaces things or just wants the security of being able to track important items, the SmartTag2 is a must-have. It's reliable, easy to use, and it genuinely solves the problem it's designed to address. I can't imagine going back to not having these on my important items.

Good training tool.
We got this for our new dog. It isn't easy to set up. I had to ask AI for help and to share with the rest of my family members. Last night she got out and I was trying to find her and apparently she was too far away to be found. Thankfully I had My phone number on her tags so a neighbor called but honestly she was maybe 100 or 200 ft away from my house and it couldn't locate her. And that little ringer button--well it has been helpful when she is in my yard because it scares her and she comes running to me when I push it it was gone during the time of her disappearance so The Smart tag was useless. I wonder if there's another kind that I can use for a dog. It's making me actually wish that I had an iPhone so that I could use The one that's meant for dogs. Maybe that would work better, but I don't want an iPhone. I'm really not happy with this device and it's larger than the one that goes with the iPhone which is kind of big for a little dog's collar. The app is not intuitive at all. I wish Samsung would make the app more easy to navigate. If anybody has any suggestions on a better smart tag that works with a Samsung Galaxy please let me know.

Perfect for Fleet Tracking! Samsung SmartTag2 Maximizes Efficiency & Family Time on the Road
I’m really pleased with this Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth tracker! I use it to track our company vehicles, and it has made a big difference in how I manage my time on the road. It helps me stay efficient during driver meetups and shift changes by letting me follow the tag right from my Samsung phone. The setup was simple and it connects reliably every time. The tracking is accurate, with good range and clear directions in the app that help me locate vehicles quickly. Battery life has been strong, and the compact, sturdy design holds up well in a work environment. I feel a real sense of contentment knowing I can maximize time with my family while keeping company equipment moving and productive. This SmartTag2 brings peace of mind and practical efficiency to my daily operations. It’s a smart investment that delivers exactly what I needed. Highly recommend for anyone tracking vehicles, keys, or important gear! I've already bought more. I'd post pictures but they're all tucked away and out of sight.

Pretty good for keeping track
Got this to track my cat for when I let him outside, setup was easy, the alert is loud enough to hear, the tracking isn't as precise as I'd like, but does give me a more than general area for his location. They're small enough to hook into his harness.

Algo util e indispensable.
No hace ruido innecesario, no exige atención constante.
