The predecessor to the TIE Fighter is here
The current wave of ships from Revenge Of The Sith expands to include the versatile V-Wing Fighter. Seen escorting Emperor Palpatine's shuttle to Coruscant and guarding the Death Star, these neat little starfighters have been captured quite well in Lego form. The ship features positionable wings, removable cockpit, laser cannons and opening wings which cover the small R2 astromech unit behind the pilot. The kit comes complete with a Clone Pilot figure (like the one in the ARC-170 Starfighter - kit #7259) but not a V-Wing pilot. The kit is very easy to assemble so kids can start playing straight away. Older collector's may be disappointed by the fact that the ship is about half the size it should be and comes with a different pilot but I think it's a rather neat little craft and a good addition to any Imperial Fighter collection.

Mein Sohn ist ein LEGO Liebhaber und will einfach alles von Star Wars. Ihn gefällt es schon seit er 5 - 6 Jahre alt war die Flieger selbst zusammen zu bauen. Er hat diesen Flieger heute noch sowie auch unzählige andere Flieger von Star Wars. Im ersten Anschein sind sie nicht so billig, aber wenn ein Kind sich wirklich damit beschäftigt macht es einfach Spaß zuzuschauen und man ist über die Kreativät einfach nur beeindruckt. Nach einiger Zeit werden natürlich die Flieger wieder auseinandergenommen und dann mit anderen Fliegern kombiniert. Es entstehen wunderschöne und interessante Modelle. Als Elternteil rate ich nur dazu - besser als nur Computerspiele und Fernsehen, ...

Der V-Wing begleitet das Shuttle des Imperators nach Mustafar, wo dieser Anakin aufsammelt. Der V-Wing hat die ehrbare und wichtige Aufgabe, den Imperator vor Angriffen zu schützen. Lego hat dieses Raumschiff sehr schön umgesetzt, es sieht sehr gut aus, läßt sich gut bauen und es macht Spaß, damit zu spielen. Außerdem ist ein Clone-Pilot enthalten. Und der rote Kopf einer Astromech-Einheit.
