I've been interested in making my own wine for awhile, but getting started can be costly and time consuming. This kit is a great way to get started for very little money or time. The instructions are easy to follow, and the ability to use any juice at all means you can make some really unique flavors. I have already made one batch of wine using grape juice because I didn't want to get too crazy on my first batch. It was sweeter then most red wines I've bought, but tasted great and the alcohol content was at least 12%. I base that on my body's reaction after drinking two glasses. I recommend these for yourself or a friend, I think it's a great buy and product.

I never thought i would be making my own wine and mead. I’ve always wanted but thought the the learning curve would be hard. Brewsy made it so simple, it’s the perfect foot in the door to start learning. They make it simple by skipping a few important steps that i have found using my own research, but for casual brewers, it is amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking to get started!

I purchased this product after YEARS of trying to make mead on my own and being massively disappointed when I let it ferment for months and it still tasted terrible! I bought this thinking, well, if it's going to taste terrible, at least I'll know in a week! I started by making some strawberry lemonade, and seven days later, it tastes DELICIOUS. The app makes it so easy (tells you how much sugar to add, how long to do everything, etc.), and knowing there's nonstop support for my brews (you can send them a pic of your brew and they'll give you advice to fix it) is so comforting! I can't wait to experiment with more flavors and juices. I HIGHLY recommend this product for beginning brewers, or anyone that's had bad luck with traditional methods!

This is the best kit out there. Hands down 100%. It's fun, simple, easy, and it makes an amazing date night. The wine tastes amazing. You can make it as sweet and fruity as you want or dry if that's what your palate prefers. You have a huge array of options. And the recipes on the site come in super handy. I'm going to have to buy the mead kit next.

My boyfriend’s pomegranate tree had a great year, so we decided to make wine. This kit has everything you need. I added more pomegranate juice from the store, and brewsy told me how much sugar to add and 1 packet of the yeast. I did have to search hard for a gallon jug, I ended up buying a wine jug and just drank that wine. I had my own fermenter top that fit the jug better. The wine is amazing, super easy, and I may never go back to store-bought wine.

Did not work at all. I am a brewer and have made my own ciders many times. I thought this kit would make it easier. Neither packet of yest worked. Upon inspection of the 2nd packet it had arrived with and expitation date of 2/25 (but a sticker had been placed over it so I suspect the yeast was actually already expired. I ordered this in Dec. and used it in January. I am very dissappointed I followed the directions exactly and neither cider brewed there was no fermatation and I suspect it was due to old exired yeast. A waste of money. Just buy champagne yeast dont want your money on this kit.
