Works fine ,a lot quicker than the slow running taps.

Easy to fit to my new Crowders water butt and easily out performs standard flow taps.

Well made and has a faster throughput of water than the one that came with my tank. I used plumbers boss-green jointing compound to ensure that seal does not leak as I don't quite trust the washers.

Great item, saves a few minutes as it flows fast.

One of the best water but taps out there. Easy to fit with no leaks. Enables fast filling of watering cans even when butt is nearly empty. Not the cheapest but worth the extra

This was a replacement for one I managed to break after many years. The large bore tap allows a greater flow than a regular water butt tap, I wouldn't go back to the narrow bore.., there are better things to do in life than wait for a watering can to fill! The screw thread is the same size as a regular tap and replaces it directly without any modification to the size of hole in the barrel. Arrived in a blister pack, as pictured. (One tap, two soft washers to seal around the curve of a barrel, and an 'easy to tighten by hand' nut, which has dimples for fingers rather than flat edges for a spanner.) I connected a 1" diameter hose to the bottom of the tap to transfer water to where I wanted. As shown in the picture, the nozzle of the tap is stepped, the 1" hose was a bit large, but I was able to get a seal around the upper (wider diameter) part with a jubilee clip.

not has i expected the one in the picture is a fast tap has that was the one i wanted to replce ,waiting for the water barrel to fill to see if it flows any faster but dont hold much hope keith
