Are these a stiff or floppy insole? If floppy, do they tend to bunch up after a while?

They are quite thick, about 4 or 5 mm, so the shoes/boots need to be already on the big side. After a bit of use, your foot compresses into them, but they don't bunch, or go floppy. I want to use these in slippers so want to know if they are soft on bare feet as they look scratchy in the pictures.

Mine are in Birkenstock slippers. They are not scratchy at all, quite the opposite. The scratchy look means they are a bit more hardy but soft soft soft. Divine truly! Cut to fit, phenomenal quality. I’m buying more!
