The lamps are rated at 20 hours, but last much longer. In most cases they last many months.The lamps that are included with the Projector are Incandescent Photolamps.There are 2 - 300 watt lamps (Designation Lamp # BAH)Product Item# is L0002 (Each projector includes an extra spare lamp)This is not a digital projector. It does not connect to a PC.This is an Opaque Projector. You place any photo or magazine cut-out or any image on the Kopykake K1000 projector and it projects the image horizontally onto your wall or on a canvas on an easel, or vertically down onto your drawing table for you to trace the image out. The projector can also enlarge the image for you to trace out. This is quite a high-end Opaque projector and will capture hairs and details.

Our item on Amazon is this Kopykake Projector cake decorating projector which includes the decorating bags and design set (CD).

Do you place a cookie with icing on it under the projector or one without icing? How does it work?

You place the cookie without icing on the board and you project down the image you want trace out on the cake or cookie and traace out the image in icing or frosting. Artist do the same vertically or horizontally onto a canvas or paper for tracing out artwork.
