Our church had an old projector that projected onto a 100 inch diagonal 4:3 ratio screen. Older screen that had an electric roll up mechanism. But...our congregation NEVER rolled the darn thing up. Well, we upgraded to a new laser projector, which was brighter and sharper and better in every way, but the native format was 16:9 (wide). Sure, it would work on the 4:3 screen, but with a smaller image and bands on the top and bottom. So, we needed a new screen. We looked at expensive ALR screens, because our sanctuary can often have a fair amount of ambient light, but eventually settled on this 135 inch white screen, with 1.3 peak gain. Assembly was...interesting...but not terribly hard. My son was home for the weekend, we went up to church and layed it out at the front of the church, and followed the instructions and the video. Took our time, got it all together in about an hour, nice and taunt on it's frame. Here's the (slightly) interesting part. Our church existing projector and screen were set up diagonally...the projector in in the left rear corner of the sanctuary, and the screen in the right front corner of the sanctuary...both of them angled to face each other. The screen was hanging from the ceiling, NOT mounted to the wall. The manufacturer (AWOL) said the screen was not designed to be hung from the ceiling, it needed to be mounted on the wall. But, our church is small, we don't have ton's of cash for a screen that would hang from the ceiling, so we ignored the manufacturers advice, and did some slight modification to the frame so we could use the existing mounting chains to mount it to the ceiling. We did all this back in early December, and, at least 2 months in, it is working wonderfully. It is MUCH brighter than the old screen, sharp, and just awesome. We didn't break the bank to buy it, but the quality seems to be very good. It wasn't terribly hard to assemble, and it is very lightweight, so it was easy to hang. In short, our congregation (and me) are VERY pleased.

I recently got this projector screen, and I’m really happy with it. The picture quality is clear and sharp, and the screen material feels durable. It was easy to set up and works great for movie nights and presentations. The size is perfect for home use, and it folds up nicely for storage. Definitely a good value for the price!

I took a long time to buy a screen for my UST 2500 laser projector, but finally made the leap. It’s definitely brighter and even more so more crisper then my painted wall. Would 100% recommend over a painted wall now. True believer in screens now.

If you've used a home projector, you've likely also used the less-than-ideal screens they come with. You know, the type with grommets all around the perimeter that you have to affix to rope or bungee cord and stretch out. Those are fine for backyard movie nights, but if you're using your projector indoors, you don't want a screen like that. Nor do you want to project on your wall. What you need is a high quality fixed screen like this one. The matte white screen has indeed solved the issue of wavy lines I used to experience when projecting onto the wall. It's a relief to have a smooth and consistent surface for my projections. While I can't attest to an 80% improvement in picture quality, I have noticed a definite enhancement, especially in terms of color reproduction and image clarity. It's also worth noting that I'm using a 1080p projector, as I don't have a 4K projector. But even still, the quality is as good as it gets when it comes to projecting on a screen. The PVC matte white material truly delivers a cinematic experience. The colors pop, and the details are crisp, making movie nights at home feel like a trip to the theater. Plus, it's reassuring to know that the screen is 4K/8K and Active 3D projection ready, ensuring compatibility with the latest technology. Hopefully one day I'll have an upgraded projector to use it with. I appreciate the wide 170° viewing angle, as it allows everyone in the room to enjoy the movie without sacrificing image quality. No distortion whatsoever when viewing at angles, and the quality retention is impressive. Assembly was easy enough, thanks to the tensioning rod system. Within minutes, I had the screen set up and ready to go, all by myself. Though a second person would probably have sped up the process. And the fact that it's easy to clean is a bonus – no need to worry about dust or smudges. One of the standout features for me is the universal compatibility. No matter what kind of projector you have, this screen has you covered. Overall, the Awol Vision projector screen has been a reliable addition to my home theater. It certainly has enhanced my movie-watching experience. If you're in the market for a quality projector screen, this one is worth considering.

Exceptional quality screen!! Very well made and a little time consuming to install, but DO NOT rush the assembly and you will be totally amazed with the ease of mounting and the results.. Watch the online video on how to assemble and it will be simple..Have a helper at the end to mount to the wall..I have a 4k set up with a Panasonic player and a Valerion Pro2 projecter and I swear it's above cimema quality!! Do not hesitate to buy this screen!

I got the 130 inch. This screen has elevated my viewing experience massively..it's incredible.. I was previously projecting on a light gray matte finished wall...using a NexiGo Aurora Pro. I have a light controlled basement that goes pitch dark but has light colored walls and ceiling therefore light beams off the walls but that's ok...the plan is to darken the surrounding walls and ceiling. Color and contrast look amazing. I had read the installation was painful so I used multiple sources such as YT videos alongside the provided manual and my install process was very smooth. My right top has minor wrinkle which I need to stretch/adjust tension and smoothen it out. I know this is not an ALR screen but I get a bright image even with lights on. The build quality is great, it's aesthetically very pleasing as well. I'm a big fan. Strongly recommended. For the price, you can't go wrong.
