After doing some research I ended up buying this from Amazon, which arrived super quick. Literally in a day for no extra cost. Love amazon prime! I got this because of some concerns I had with possible spy GPS trackers on my friends car. After opening it, it was already charged so I started walking around the house and it went kinda crazy near my router and cellphone when I got a call. Makes sense I suppose since this is what its supposed to find, only hidden. Tried it near the car, but nothing was happening except when I was on the phone. Called their support and spoke to Jeff who was really nice and helpful. He walked me through what I need to do and be aware of to I knew I was using it right. Basically I needed to drive the car into an open field where there was no other cell phones or wifi, otherwise it would pick up other signals. There is a homing button I had to push too which is supposed to make it easier to find the signals that are closer because it cuts out the noise of other stuff. Suffice to say, I did not find anything hidden on my friends car, or other cars that I tested it on, But It does find all kinds of signals. Very happy with the purchase.

Shipped with a dead battery should have been my first clue. NO parabolic capabilities at all. NO frequency isolation.

The Spy-Hawk Pro-10G showed up really fast, which already had me excited. I was able to get started using it quickly as it wasn't really complicated at all. Great Instructions and ready to go out of the box. Admittedly was a bit skeptical when I ordered, but I really needed something so I took the chance. And boy was I right about this...I started sweeping the house, the garage, then the cars. It was incredible how this little GPS Bug Detector found a hidden GPS on my truck! Confirmed every dang suspicion I had. All I can say is thank you to those Spy Hawk guys for such a smart product, you saved my hide!

This product is good for uncovering GPS or cell based trackers - HOWEVER you must be in an area far far away from ANY WiFi networks (that are active), otherwise, the constant RF transmission of the WiFi network will override everything else and you will get nothing but maximum signal (to the red) everywhere you go and you won't be able to detect a GPS/cell tracking device in a vehicle. If you want to try to uncover a hidden GPS/Cell based tracker in a car, you must turn off all cell phones in your possession including iPads or laptops that have a cell-based connection. You must drive the vehicle to a rural or isolated area where you are not near ANY transmitting WiFi networks (even private WiFi networks). For example, drive to an off of a country road where there are no businesses or homes within 200 yards. Then turn off the car and perform use the device to see if you have a tracker hidden in your car. Also, remember that some newer cars like GM products have ONSTAR with WiFi that is constantly on if the vehicle is TURNED ON. This will totally interfere with being able to pick up the output of a hidden GPS/cell tracker. It is definitely not worth $349.
