I came across an old pattern for a chemo cap. The pattern called for Lion Brand fun fur which has been discontinued. I ordered this yarn as a substitute. I was dreading knitting with it because of my experience with fun fur in the past. I was pleasantly surprised by this yatn. The yarn itself is a little thicker than fun fur which made it easier to knit with. I quickly and easily finished my gauge swatch. I pulled out the stitches and they came out very easily with no knotting or tangling. I paired the fur with Paton’s Wool Ease and knit another swatch. The two yarns together knit up beautifully. There was no slipping of the fur, no tangling and the swatch was soft, important for a chemo cap. I was able to get the required gauge with the suggested needless. I’ve been knitting for almost 40 years and this rarely happens. This yarn is a joy to work work with and I I would definitely order it again. I ordered the dark purple and it’s beautiful (deep, rich purple).

Prefect for crafting

The color is vibrant and the lashes were just right for what I intended it for. The yarn was not too thin and it was soft and easy to work with. It was worth its price. I used it to make graduation necklaces and it was beautiful

This yarn was excellent- very easy to work with, strong, and not snappy. I was very surprised to find how easy it was to work with, I had no problems with it, and even when I had to take out some stitches it came out without getting tangled. I used a wire brush to fluff it afterwards. Mt only complaint in the yarn description was that it didn't say how long the 'feathers' were. (Because that is important when making a hedgehog :) ) It turned out that the feathers are just over an inch long, which looked great for my project. The feathers were woven into a strong string, so they didn't come out and the yarn didn't snap. It is rather thin, it about just the right for a 3.5 mm crochet hook, so depending on your project you might want to double the strands. I hope this helps for y'all out there!

Amazing yarn to work with

I bought this yarn to use as "hair" on knitted dolls and it works wonderfully. It's soft and the yardage is very sufficient. It's easy to work with and the price is decent. I have since bought several more .
