So according to my podiatrist, I've got a case of Hallux Limitus in my big toe most likely caused by sesamoiditis. That's when I happened to stumble upon this item. I basically used this device everyday for about 2 months, and it has almost completely reversed my condition. I've regained my flexibility and strength in the big toe. This in turn has helped my gait quite a bit as well. The price seems a little steep for what it is. Realistically speaking, it's dense foam molded into a form so that you can force your toes upward. Then again, the cost of surgery and the subsequent rehab would cost much more than this OTC device. If you have an injury to your toes, this might just be what you need to straighten you out too.

So seller couldn’t have made the smaller piece a LITTLE bigger to comfortably fit a whole foot. Mine is size 8 female. Foot slides off every time I try to it. Don’t waste your money buying the smaller foot stretcher. Don’t expect to get a good stretch when your foot slides off constantly.

For those who worry that closed cell material will be too soft, don’t fear. This device is firm enough to dig in, yet soft enough to allow you to push as hard as possible. Offers relief with repeated use—this is not a one-and-done treatment. I only wish it was a little larger.
