Easy one-person setup (less than 5 minutes)
I absolutely love this canopy. I had a 10x10 slant leg canopy that would take me 10-15 minutes of fighting with it to get it setup. When it broke I looked for one that was specifically designed for one-person setup. This canopy has a central handle that you simply push up and click into place. You have to fiddle with the braces that go to the corner to help them along but once you get the hang of it setup literally takes less than five minutes (check the video). If you store it with the canopy on that time is even less. IT does take a little bit of extra tugging and stuffing to get it in the bag with the canopy in place but it does go in without too much trouble. The canopy comes with a wheeled carry/transport bag, the canopy, a set of ground stakes, pre-attached guide ropes, and even a set of sand bags. They're nothing fancy but they are included. The frame is sturdy and holds up to a light to moderate breeze with sand bags to anchor it. It has a vent on top which I think helps keep it in place in relatively light winds that might upset other canopies. You won't waste your money buying this.

good size for backyard set up, shade and coziness during summer
UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER: updating from 4 to 5 stars Still holding up! I was lazy and NEVER took it down. It stayed up all year near Buffalo NY. (Just a little north of, and we barely get snow). I lowered it a bit to help it fight wind and occasional snowfall. I just tapped the canopy to remove snow. I ducked under when I wanted to sit outside in middle of winter with my 3 dogs. Otherwise I normally have it at lowest height setting (bang my head though-I'm tall) or second setting (preferred). Highest is not necessary for my nearly 6' needs. ALSO, I have never been rained on when sitting outside under this. OK: back to original review: --------------------------------------------------------------------- I have had a few canopies of this style over the years. I have always managed to get them set up on my own, Same holds true for this. May feel a little awkward, and is likely easier with a second person, but it is doable going at it solo. It does not feel cheap, or rather it doesnt feel cheaper than any other I have had. The brand I had last year was decimated in an unexpected severe windstorm. So while I was happy with my old one, I shopped around for a better price. I also wanted a vented option. I recalled that my old one was not vented and it made a difference in how the area under canopy felt. The addition of the vent allows hot air to escape. Probably helps with windage too. OH< and I also wanted slightly bigger and my reason will be mentioned here: My old one was 8' x 8'. Seems like plenty of coverage for casual use outside for a little shade. I have a small square table and a couple of chairs. The widith of the 8' covered this, but the chairs hung out a little, making it useless as full cover. SO I went with 10'. Now I can have same table and chairs underneath and I am fully covered. Personally I would consider a 12' x 12' if I had a bigger table, or if I wanted a couple more chairs underneath. I chose this one because it had features I was looking for at a price point I found reasonable. I saw some that were cheaper, but they looked cheaper. I wanted something that seems like it can handle being set up for the summer. So far so good with this one. Leg height is adjustable (there are 3 holes, just press the pin to lock into height you want), and can be lowered further for windy days. Not sure if it is waterproof. Havent been out in it while it has rained. Will update once I know for sure. Canopy has guylines, and there are LARGE sandbags included. I filled those with sand (we have sandy soil). They are the largest bags I have ever had for a canopy. They should help a lot! Includes a carrying bag with wheels. Cant think of what else to say at this time. I will know more as I use it more. I will update as I learn more. And definitely will come back to update if this thing fails me. But so far so good.

Price point
Easy to place. The top could be a heavier duty material. The top could also benefit from additional attachment points for wind. The bankers are flimsy and bend easily so investing in better anker spikes are a must. For the cost I found the quality acceptable.

Super high quality but may need two people to setup.
This product ended up being heavier and sturdier than expected. We used it at the lake all day, and even with some wind, it wasn't being blown around as much as many other lighter canopy tents. Getting it setup if you were alone could be a challenge due to it's heaviness, I really think it needs two people to pull apart and lock into place. Setup with two people is a breeze. Very impressed with the quality on this.

One of few that are ACTUALLY 10 square feet. Straight legs matter.
I actually love this pop-up. I bought it to use for craft shows. It's absolutely perfect. Most cheaper tents have a smaller canopy with legs that stick out to make up the 10-foot claim. This one is actually 10 feet with straight legs. That's incredibly important when you have to rent spaces in exactly 10' increments for events like mine. It also means the walls you can get are a breeze to put on and actually useful. They add some extra stability when you don't want to use the sandbags.

One person can set it up!
I had another canopy, but you need 4 people to put it up, one person on each corner. This canopy frame is great for me, as I was able to put it up by myself. It is heavier than the first one I got, however it has wheels on the carrying case. I was able to pick it up and put it in my trunk then lift it out at the camp ground and roll it to the spot I needed. We had a terrible wind storm and it held up ok through it. It has tie downs and tent pins. Which is the only way it didn't take to flight in that wind. Very Happy with purchase!

Not meant for beach. I'm sure it's great for events because its heavy
I want to start this with....this tent is not meant for the beach. It weighs 39lbs. I hope that saves someone else. It is a good tent if you're using for a vendor event. It has wheels to pull it. But it is still 39lbs which is very heavy for a tent. But I'm guessing this is what you want if it's going to be on concrete and you need it to be heavy and not tip over or fly away. But because I searched for beach tents and this came up...i was surprised. We didn't use it until months later. When I lifted it to put it in the car, I realized it was super heavy. But since my husband usually carries it on the beach while I carry our toddler. He picked it up to bring it to the beach and said the same...alot heavier.
