I bought this for my son for Christmas cause he loves bob ross. This is so adorable. Didn’t want to take it out of the package but it looks high quality.

I grew up watching Bob Ross and the Joy of Painting. It was part of what inspired me to become an artist! I'm so excited to see a whole new generation become fans of his, leading to officially licensed products like this amazing hat. I'm glad that they've done a good job in keeping the design subtle rather than super overt (like making it look like his hair or something). The graphics are tasteful and restrained, like Bob's voice. You have to look to catch the "Happy Trees" branding and the nicely embroidered likeness of Bob on the back, but that's how it should be. Bob was never ostentatious, so I'm glad these licensed products are similarly restrained and humble rather than looking like souvenirs. Quality wise, it's a very nice beanie. It's stretchy, warm, and not scratchy at all. Everything is nicely embroidered and it even fit my large head without issue. Very happy with it. I'm glad I'll be able to show my love for Bob Ross and his art without having huge brand names or anything on it. It's a great conversation piece, but only for those who look closely, which is awesome.

I couldn't believe it when I found this beanie with Happy Trees! Then I was even happier when I saw the photo of Bob Ross on the other side! This may sound weird to some people, but this hat reminds me so much of my late husband. He's been gone for almost 10 years, but I can hear him right now saying "There are no mistakes here, just happy little trees". I feel like this beanie was meant for me to find. I love the neutral colors of it and it feels good on my head - not too hot. But most importantly, it's the happy memories it conjures up. I imagine it will be a nice conversation starter as well once it's cold enough to wear out.

I got this for my son for Christmas. He loved it and quality was very good.

Frankly speaking I don’t know who is Bob Ross. After some research I know he is a painter, an art instructor in USA. He was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994. I guess this Happy Trees and Mountains is one of his painting which need to be verified. Anyway this beanie is black and grey in color which fits people of all age. I like that it is double layer which means it is warmer than those with single layer. And it is more comfortable to wear too because the underneath layer and also because it is breathable. It is made of high quality knit. It is 100% Acrylic. This beanie is going to add some artistic touch to your attire. It is also machine washable. The web page says it is good for all seasons which I don’t quite agree. Who is going to wear this beanie in the hot summer? It is more suitable to wear in colder days especially winter time. It is one size fits all. I feel that it fits my head nicely. I am sure I can make good use of it in the winter which is coming soon. At this price I can recommend it to anyone.

I love this beanie very much. I needed a new one for the winter and being a big fan of Bob Ross, this one immediately caught my eye. It is made of thick and somewhat soft acrylic fabric and while most beanie are scratchy to some level, I found this one less so than cheaper beanies sold in stores. I also really like the Bob Ross touches, like the front portrait patch, the "happy little trees" embroidered on the back and the greyscale forest woven into the beanie. I find the beanie is a bit too large at the top for me, which leaves some empty space when I wear it. It does not seem to be a problem when my partner wears it though, so maybe this beanie is designed for people with larger heads and mine is just a bit too small for it? It is still pretty comfortable to wear and keeps your head perfectly warm outside, so overall I am pretty happy with my order and would for sure recommend it. :)

I'm going to compare this to my favorite mainstay, a standard Carhartt grey that has seen a few years but stayed true (see my review photo) The hat is pretty much the same size and fits very well. It hugged my head and didn't slip during outside activity. I found the slouch and adjustments that happen while you're active in a hat like this to be very acceptable. The exterior details are where this really shines, like the printing on the front and the Ross face logo on the back. Both are crisp, easy to see and eye catching. I love the tree details in the knit and have many people ask me about where I got it. The interior and side tags were a bit of a nuisance at first, especially the side one because I felt it was impacting my sillouette, but after wearing it for a week or so I decided to leave it on. Very happy with this hat. It's warm and stylish.
