The treadmill has no rail or handles. It comes with a simple remote control which must be used to start the treadmill once you plug it in and turn the power button at the front of the machine. The speed range starts at .6 and accelerates up to 3.9. There is a slight delay in the start and stop of the band. The band seems strong but I am curious how it will hold up after use. It’s good for a brisk walk but not a run. There is no way to elevate it to an incline. I am 5”4’ and it is the perfect length for my stride but I think it would be challenging to get a good pace if you are taller. It is easy to lift and roll under my sofa for storage. It is not too loud but not too quiet. I wouldn’t walk on it if I were in a meeting or on a call.The treadmill came assembled! Open the box, plug it in, and turn it on! Everything worked fine with it, got it up and running with no issue. The belt does like to drift to the left, so it needs adjustment after each use. The max speed is 3.9, which for me, is a very brisk walk, but could be a job or run for a shorter person (I'm 6'1").What was an issue is its size, since it's so compact. If I am not paying too close attention, I can step off to the sides, due to my size and my feet size. The belt size area is really not that large and does not allow much room for error.
