When using as countdown timer, does it reset to 0:0:0 when you stop it?

step 1, Press the MODE button to the clock interface. step 2, In the clock interface, press and hold the SPLIT/RESET button with the alarm clock time display, at the same time, press the MODE button until all day icons of week appear/ disappear to turn on/off. It doesn't explicitly say 'waterproof' however if you intend to use it for swimming or other water sports make sure it stays on dry land.

A hassle to set.

This is a real hassle to set and I'm pretty good at this kind of thing. I just needed a stopwatch to use at work Start. Stop. Reset. That's it. If you don't mind the hassle of trying to set the thing by pushing the middle button three times and trying to fumble through the rest then good. This isn't worth the hassle to try to return to get a few bucks back so I'm cutting my losses. I'm sure I know someone who would take it. I found another very basic stopwatch that's been ordered. Addendum: I decided to return it
