Gymboss Interval Timer and Stopwatch - TEAL/BLUE METALLIC GLOSS

This item does just what it says in it's sales pitch and I thoroughly recommend it, but my biggest congratulations and thanks must go to Gymboss EU how got it to me in double quick time. Ordered on the a Monday, had a confirmation on Tuesday that Gymboss had sent my order and it would be delivered between Feb 5th to 25th and then it arrives on the Thursday!! Blinding!

I replaced my Gymboss Minimax (which I used for five years) with this one after it broke. Both are excellent but the Minimax offers far more features for the extra money. I miss the ability to save workouts and not have to keep a written record of those that I do. I wish Gymboss would do a full metal version with robust electronics and backlight. I would gladly pay double for it and it would be an instant classic, I'm sure. I love this concept. That said. This is easy enough to program and will be a long term gym buddy for me. I love the colour and it really does become one's gym boss. One presses the start button and one obeys. Fantastic !

I have bought around 5 of these over my personal training career.......they are high quality and can use as a timer or use for intervals............but they are expensive , and the buttons usually break after around 2-3 years of regular use (I take often take 2-5 sessions a day. Once I did get a replacement as it was a short time. Hopefully the one recently purchased lasts a few years again!

Exactly what it says .. I use if for pomodoro .. and gym .. I would be even better if there was a way to store mutiple configurations .. because gym reps are are usually 1minute work 2 mins rest ... while pomodoro is 25minute work 5 mins rest ... it's very different for each to reconfigure .. are I might buy 2 and keep them configure separately

Bought for timing running/walking intervals. A little bit difficult to set up and buttons are hard to press, but it does the job. Mine has also been through the washing machine when I left it clipped to my top, but continued to work after drying it out.

I bought this timer for use in martial arts instruction, my own punchbag work and for use in the gym (interval running/cycling etc). I am glad that I waited to post a review as all started out pretty well - the size of it was perfect to also take the gym without it getting in the way, its settings of different levels of beeping (or vibration) comes in handy for the different environments I was using it in (loud for martial arts, everyone hitting pads etc . . . vibration in the gym as not to annoy anyone). It's not that hard to use once you read the instructions, I guess they not made this as user friendly as possible, but this is down to them keeping the buttons and size to a minimum. For the price I WAS very pleased with it. However as stated in another review by someone else the buttons rarely register your presses, so you have to press pretty hard and eventually (under a month) the start button will no longer work (well, it will start but this button is also used for pausing and stopping and it doesn't work once started - so best of luck trying to pause to give instruction, or to stop it if you have set it wrong in haste). Basically this product is too annoying to use - will be switching to an app or a decent sports watch.

Got a year out of this one. It's the second or third that I'm having to bin. They do the job, until they give up the ghost. Then you have to buy a new one. I'd spend more if that would get me a more reliable version with the same form factor. Treated as disposable tech this is fine, but disposable tech just isn't fine. Hence 3 stars only

I bought this to replace my old Gymboss and it's absolutely excellent. Highly recommended if you're looking for an interval timer you can clip onto your run or gym clothing.

so easy to set up! works and sets up just like the instructions say! i love having the choice of how long to have the beep go off to change intervals! beep is loud enough. havent tried attaching it to a pocket or waist, i usually just hold it while running. got the teal/blue one and its a great colour! there are other colours so check those out! the purple and pink looks good so does the grey and yellow one.

Simple et efficace. Solide et utilisable dans n'importe quelle condition. Le clips tient très bien pour le saut à la corde ou les burpees. Avec des écouteurs dans les oreilles et votre musique préférée, vous sentirez bien le mode vibreur pendant les exercices. Très bien.

Ich suchte einen Intervall- Timer mit 2 Zeiten und stieß dabei auf den Gymboss. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Ein kleines und schickes Teil mit einer guten Haptik. Eine Batterie war leider nicht dabei, doch das war vorher klar. Dennoch nicht ganz verständlich, diese gehört für mich bei dem Preis einfach dazu. So muss u. U. erst eine passende Batterie beschafft werden. Ich hatte jedoch eine zu Hause, deshalb und weil ich es wusste, überbewerte ich das nicht. Für den Hersteller/Lieferanten ist jedoch noch Luft nach oben. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist auch etwas knapp gehalten. Doch auf der Herstellerseite fand sich eine ausführlichere Anleitung, mit deren Hilfe der Timer rasch nach meinen Wünschen programmiert war. Die Funktionen entsprechen den Darstellungen auf der Amazon-Seite. Etwas nervig empfinde ich nur das „aufgeregte Piepsen“ nach Ablauf der prograkmmierten Intervalle ( Wiederholungen ). Das hätte z.B. ein Ton in einer anderen Tonlage auch getan. Doch das ist wohl Geschmackssache und mindert den guten Eindruck von dem Gerät nicht. Ansonsten macht der kleine Helfer genau was er soll. Leider fiel der Timer nach etwa 4 Wochen aus, die „UP-Taste“ war plötzlich ohne Funktion, als eine Zeitänderung erfolgen sollte. Ein Ausfall, der bei jedem technischen Produkt vorkommen kann. Nun konnte der Hersteller zeigen, was er unter gutem Service versteht. Gymboss reagierte innerhalb von ca. 12 Stunden auf meine Reklamation. Es wurde eine sehr kulante Regelung vorgeschlagen, und so werkelt längst ein neuer Gymboss bei mir. Das nenne ich guten Service, so muss es sein. Deshalb, und weil das Gerät gut funktioniert, vergebe ich, trotz des frühen Ausfalls, volle Punktzahl. Natürlich hoffe ich, den Hersteller- Service nie wieder in Anspruch nehmen zu müssen.

Does it job as timer but it's not loud enough. You have to put it on your chest area specially if you have loud music on. Or you won't hear when timer is done
