Lonely Planet Sri Lanka 14 (Travel Guide)

This was a very informative guidebook. I particularly liked the helpful info about how to get to and out of specific towns since public transportation makes more sense than renting a car. The approximate amount to pay for traveling by taxi/Uber were helpful as well. The suggestions for places to stay looked very interesting- from staying in a monastery to staying on a working cinnamon farm. I actually checked out both.

I really liked how the book came in very good, almost like brand new condition, when I recieved it in the mail, which I really appreciated, full heartedly. Keep up the good work, everyone. I plan to use this book in learning more about the people, country, culture, and land of Sri Lankan (Ceylan).

Best travel guide for Sri Lanka!

The book is fine. As I started my research into it, I came across a map that had a town circled in pencil. I figured that could happen with any new book; however when I came across another page with other references also circled, that is just disappointing. The markings I'm finding aren't terribly distracting, but this is just my first 10 minutes into the book. I'm hopeful I won't find too much more, but this is certainly not a 'new' purchase.

Sono sempre molto diffidente sulle guide LP perchè mi piace viaggiare nei posti meno turistici e più remoti dei paesi. Devo dire che questa guida è fatta davvero bene però. Grazie Amazon per spedizione super puntuale e Grazie LP per avermi aiutato a fare un bel viaggio!

If you are a Lonely Planet person you will enjoy the familiar format. As with all LP books the information is very well curated and easy to find. Great for pre-travel planning and reference on the go. Sri Lanka is a dynamic place and changes can be quick. Check the web for updates on critical items when possible.
